He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 424

Or perhaps Helena just didn't want to hold back anymore.

In a split second, she lunged forward.

Catching Sebastian completely off guard, she slapped him hard across the face.

She used every ounce of her strength, showing him zero mercy.

The sheer force of the blow was so intense that Helena herself stumbled backward.

She stood there, gasping for air desperately.

Sebastian's eyes instantly turned predatory and freezing cold.

For a fleeting second, Helena thought he was going to kill her.

But she stood her ground bravely, not making a single move to dodge.

They faced off, the tension between them snapping like a taut wire.

"Sebastian, I'm leaving no matter what." She didn't care if everything burned down around them.

She was pouring gasoline on the fire.

She seemed to be venting every ounce of her grief.

She grabbed whatever was within reach and smashed it to pieces.

She was purposely trying to enrage him.

After seven years of marriage, Helena knew his temper better than anyone.

His immense pride would never tolerate such blatant defiance.

If she provoked him enough, he would tell her to get the hell out.

Instead, Sebastian just stood there with a dark expression, watching her tear the room apart.

He didn't speak a word, let alone raise a hand against her.

Eventually, Helena completely exhausted herself.

Only then did Sebastian speak, his voice dangerously low. "Are you done throwing a tantrum? If you're done, come back with me."

It was an absolute command.

As soon as the words left his mouth, he didn't give her another chance to explode.

He grabbed her wrist and dragged her straight out of the hospital room.

Wherever he walked, the atmosphere dropped to freezing.

Everyone around them was too terrified to even breathe loudly.

Sebastian shoved her into the car and slammed the door shut violently.

He walked around to the driver's side, got in, and sped off toward the villa.

It was The Marital Villa.

The one place Janetta had never set foot in.

At first, Sebastian managed to swallow his pride and coax her.

But as time dragged on, his temper began to flare.

His patience was being pushed to the absolute brink; she was repeatedly trampling all over his bottom line.

"Why aren't you eating?" He marched right up to her.

It was the fifth day since he had forcibly brought her back.

The kitchen staff had rotated through countless different cuisines.

But absolutely nothing pleased her.

The old Helena was never a picky eater.

She ate whatever was available because she hated inconveniencing others.

She was nothing like this.

"I don't like it," Helena replied numbly. "I just want to leave."

No matter what he asked, she would eventually give him the exact same answer.

"I want to take Hope and leave. She's been gone for four days. Why is she still in the hospital's morgue?"

She sounded calm, but she was mechanically repeating the exact same question like a broken record.

"Helena!" Sebastian's voice shot up an octave, clearly unwilling to tolerate her behavior any longer.
