Read Chapter 295 of He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel online to discover whether Jarrod can win Stella’s heart back, or whether he has realized her true worth when it is already too late.

Did Jarrod think she was eager to escape their marriage just to jump into a new relationship?

Stella didn't answer.

She had already said everything that needed to be said. Jarrod was probably only asking because his pride was bruised, but she had absolutely no energy left to humor him.

Instead, she simply closed her eyes and rested her head.

Watching her reaction, a suffocating tightness gripped Jarrod's chest. He didn't ask anything else and tightly shut his own eyes as well.

A short while later, the driver pulled up to Stella's apartment building.

Once the car came to a complete stop, Stella murmured a polite "thank you" and reached for the door handle. But before she could open it, Jarrod's hand clamped around her wrist.

His palm was scorching, the heat seeping instantly through her skin.

Stella looked back at him. "Is there something else?"

Jarrod's dark eyes shifted slightly. After a pause, he said, "I'm planning to keep The Sterling Residences. Since you're going to list it for sale anyway, I'll just pay you the market value in cash."

Stella had wanted to tell him that he didn't need to pay her out, that he could just keep the house. But she knew Jarrod would never accept that. She nodded instead. "Alright, whatever works for you."

The conversation was over, yet his hand remained securely wrapped around her wrist.

Stella glanced at her arm, then back up at Jarrod.

Slowly, as if entirely unbothered, Jarrod released her and leaned back into his resting position.

"I'm heading up," Stella said.

She stepped out of the car and walked into the building.

Shortly after walking through her front door, her phone buzzed with a text from Sebastian asking if she had made it home safely.

Stella replied with a brief, *[I'm home.]*

Sebastian's chat bubble showed he was typing for quite a while before a simple *[Get some rest]* finally came through.

Not only had he proactively allocated the extra funds needed to replace the damaged machinery, but he had also started checking in on her work, frequently asking if she needed any support.

Shortly after, George forwarded her the client's details.

Back in her office, Stella cross-checked the information with Mr. Stafford to verify the client's legitimacy, then called the client directly to feel out the situation.

It turned out the client used to work with SD years ago and was extremely satisfied with the factory's quality. Though they had pivoted to a different industry for a few years, they were now launching a new apparel brand and immediately thought of SD.

Mr. Stafford was currently bogged down managing a massive order for the Vance Family, so Stella decided to head over and handle the meeting herself.

"Are you going alone? Why not take Sebastian? As our head designer, he knows the technical side inside and out, and he's got great connections," Mr. Stafford suggested.

Stella shook her head with a faint smile. "No need. He's got his hands full right now. I'll just take Joey to scout out the situation. If we actually lock in a preliminary deal, we can bring him in then."

When Sebastian heard the news, he didn't protest. He knew exactly why Stella refused to take him on a business trip—she didn't want Jarrod to find out and cause another scene.

After the confrontation in Southport and everything that happened last night, Sebastian could vaguely sense that Stella's feelings for Jarrod weren't entirely gone.
