They clutched their purses desperately, terror flashing in their eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?! Do you have any idea who my brother is?!" Serena was still trying to put up a tough front.

"Who cares who your brother is? All I know is you two crossed us tonight!"

A wiry man sneered maliciously, "You stuck-up bitches. We just asked for your numbers, and you act like you're too good for us! You need to be taught a lesson!"

Fear began to seep into Chloe's eyes as well, though she desperately tried to sound calm. "Fine, we were out of line. How much money do you want? I'll pay you, okay?"

"Hah! I knew you two walked around with your noses in the air because you had deep pockets!"

The wiry man gave a lecherous grin. "Why would we want a little cash? Once we make you our women, your money and your bodies will belong to us anyway!"

"Hahaha!"

His vile threat sent the other thugs into fits of laughter, while all the color drained from Chloe and Serena's faces, leaving them trembling in sheer horror.

Stella's brow furrowed sharply. She knew she couldn't physically take them on, so she slowly backed into the shadows against the wall, pulled out her phone, and quickly dialed the police, whispering the address.

The moment she hung up, she saw the men lunge forward, grabbing and dragging Chloe and Serena!

The two women completely lost their composure, screaming in absolute terror.

Prepared for this, the men shoved wads of tissues into their mouths to silence them!

Stella gritted her teeth. She snatched up a rock near her foot and hurled it with all her might at a pile of empty cans near the alley entrance.

*Crash!* The loud clatter echoed sharply, sending the cans rolling into the street. The thugs instantly whipped their heads around.

The distant wail of police sirens grew closer, and the suffocating tension in Stella's chest finally eased.

Ignoring the two thugs rolling on the ground in pain, Stella hurried over to Serena and Chloe.

They had managed to pull the tissues out of their mouths, but their hair and clothes were a tangled mess from being dragged. They sat slumped on the ground, wrapping their arms tightly around themselves, paralyzed by shock and fear.

"It's okay. The police are almost here."

Though she tried to comfort them, Stella was far less composed than she appeared. Her voice trembled slightly, and she was still gripping the fire extinguisher with a white-knuckled hold.

"Ugh..." Serena finally broke into sobs, staring at Stella with trembling eyes. "I was so scared..."

Noticing their purses were gone—likely snatched by the thugs—Stella pushed through her own adrenaline crash and crouched in front of Serena. She handed over her phone. "Do you want to call Edward and Eleanor?"
