Seth didn't look up, but his lackeys immediately noticed Winona and collectively gaped in awe.
Winona slammed the car door shut behind her.
"B-Boss..." the red-haired lackey stammered.
Seth mindlessly blew out a cloud of smoke. "Why the hell are you stuttering?"
The orange-haired lackey chimed in, "Th-There's a gorgeous girl! And she's walking right toward us!"
Just as he finished speaking, a pair of pristine white sneakers stepped into view.
Seth froze, his cigarette clamped between his teeth, and impatiently lifted his gaze.
His eyes trailed up a pair of slender, luminous legs, a white pleated skirt, and a light blue blouse, capturing a look that was both elegant and slightly playful.
Unfortunately, Winona's face didn't exactly scream "elegant." She had breathtaking, high-contrast features. With her hair pulled back flawlessly from her forehead, her long locks flowed like high-grade silk down her back, drawing attention to the tassel earrings brushing her collarbones. Her facial proportions were absolute perfection—her deep eyes shone brilliantly, her nose was perfectly sloped, and her lips were the deep, rich color of crushed petals.
She was beautiful, undoubtedly, but she looked completely unapproachable, radiating a wealthy, arrogant hostility.
Seth instinctively crushed out his cigarette, his Adam's apple bobbing, but before he could speak, the green-haired lackey scrambled forward. "Hey beautiful, our boss is already taken. No phone numbers today."
"Taken?" Winona arched an eyebrow. "Who'd he give his heart to?"
Seth turned his face away uncomfortably, his voice utterly rigid. "What does it matter to you?"
Winona was thoroughly unimpressed. "What's with that attitude?"
The rainbow gang collectively gasped. Knowing their boss's temper, he should be exploding right about now. He might not hit a girl, but his icy, vicious sarcasm was usually enough to make anyone burst into tears.
Just as the lackeys braced for Seth to start throwing insults, he simply furrowed his brow in frustration. A few seconds later, he tightened his jaw and muttered, "This is just my attitude."
The lackeys stared at Seth in utter shock.
The green-haired kid blinked. "Boss? Are you feeling okay?"
"I'm fine," Seth snapped coldly.
