Chapter 224 The Truth Behind the Ticket
After all, Julia was just like him-she loved putting people down.
“Sherry, are you crazy? Now you’re stealing someone else’s seat? How shameless can you get? I see why my family was so strict with you. Who knows what other embarrassing things you’ll do?”
He dumped all the hurt and humiliation he’d felt-all the things that had made him look bad -onto Sherry.
That way, he could pretend he and his family owed Sherry nothing.
“These two men picked me up. Now you’re both denying it?” Sherry looked at the two men who’d brought her here.
They glanced at each other. “We don’t know this woman at all. We have no idea why she’s saying we brought her here.”
“So you really did steal my seat! How could you?” The woman had trusted Sherry just a moment ago.
Sherry took out her phone and played the video of the two men picking her up.
Unlike Julia and George, these two were just bodyguards. No one would stand they didn’t have a chance to argue.

for them-
“Don’t try that same trick you used earlier.” Sherry cut them off before they could defend themselves. “I recorded this because you said you were sent by Mr. Harrison. He’s in a place with bad signal right now-I can’t reach him.
“But I’d never seen you two before. So I recorded it as proof-to check if you really worked for him. After all, the Harrison family hates it when people pretend to be their men. Anyone who does that-they never let them get away with it.”
The two tall, strong men suddenly trembled. They clearly knew how terrifying the Harrison family was.
They quickly glanced at George’s seat.
The Harrisons were scary, but they didn’t dare offend George either.
Who knew what crazy, terrible things he’d do to get revenge? The two men had no choice but to bite the bullet and suffer in silence.

“Yes, we brought her here. We were just doing our job for the money. But we know nothing about the ticket!”
They’d made a deal.
They couldn’t offend the Harrisons or the Lathams-so they’d take it out on Sherry. Pick the weakest one to bully.
Later, they’d say they didn’t know it was the Harrison family from King City.
They’d claim it was a different family with the same name in Seaseat City.
Now their
eyes turned turned
Back to Sherry.
Sherry spoke calmly. “Even if I didn’t have a ticket today, I’d still be allowed to stand here. It’s fine if some people refuse to admit they’re trying to mess with me. After all, for me, everyone here is a guest.”
Everyone in the room thought about her words for a moment.
Finally, Julia covered her mouth in surprise. “Are you sure Mr. Harrison knows you’re saying this? If he found out high
assistant is calling herself the owner of SC at a big event like this-and calling us guests-wouldn’t that be funny?
“I heard one of SC’s partners is from Keiperian. And I know that person. He’s never mentioned having a partner like you, Ms. Campbell. Bragging is fine-but don’t go too far.”
Everyone else laughed too.
“This is ridiculous! Even someone at my level had to get an invitation through proper channels -and I can only bring one partner.
“I even had to ask someone to get me this ticket. We all value this project-we’re here to network. Not like you, sneaking in and talking big. Do you have any idea how hard we worked to get here?
