Yvonne sensed the danger. She clenched her fists tightly, grinding her teeth as her face turned dark.

Daniel handed the resume back to Yvonne. “Contact her. Tell her to come to work tomorrow.”

Daniel narrowed his eyes. “Say that again.”

“Then don’t bother coming in tomorrow. Get out of my company.”

“My brother is the second–largest shareholder-”

Daniel cut her off before she could finish. His gaze turned icy. “Then take your brother with you.”

The three male interviewers held back their laughter and quietly clapped their hands.

Tears welled up in Yvonne’s eyes from anger. She pulled out her phone instantly and called her brother to complain.

“Mr. Cross is kicking us out just because of one job applicant. He doesn’t even respect you, and he doesn’t care that I’m the HR director. He-”

A loud shout exploded from the other end of the line. Yvonne flinched and hung up immediately. With a hurt look on her face, she grabbed Zoe’s resume. “Fine. I’ll tell her to come in tomorrow. But whether she actually shows up…”

Daniel’s expression darkened upon hearing her vague tone. He snapped sharply, “Send the message now.”

The three men were stunned by his stern attitude.

Daniel lowered his wrist and pointed at the three men. “Tomorrow, you three will walk her through the onboarding process. Show her around the company and explain every workflow. Take perfect care of her. If anything goes wrong and ruins her first day, none of you are getting your monthly bonuses.”

“We’ve got it!” The three men nodded happily with big grins. “You can count on us, Mr. Cross.”

Yvonne’s face twisted into an ugly, bitter scowl.

Daniel left the interview room while holding Zoe’s resume.

The three men shot Yvonne cold, triumphant glares, clearly enjoying her misery.

They had long grown tired of her attitude.
