Shopping with Brooke and Ashley was so much fun, we got our hair and nails done, bought new shoes, and even managed a little retail therapy before we needed to get back to the packhouse. The minute we get back we go and find Bella to see how she’s doing; we find her in the kitchen with Calvin and Jack and she doesn’t look well bless her heart.

“Hey, petal!” I cooe to her as I take her from Calvin’s arms, she gives me her beautiful smile but I can see she’s not doing great.

“Maybe I shouldn’t go to the ceremony tonight, Brooke? She doesn’t seem right!”

“Don’t even think about it, Brooke already tried that one with me, and I’ll tell you the same as I told her the ceremony is going ahead, it’s been long in the making, and Brooke deserves to be officially announced Luna and you deserve to officially become a member of this pack. Variety will be with Bella tonight and has promised to call me straight away if there are any problems, you know she’s safe with variety!” Calvin spouts out before Brooke can say a word to me.

“What’s going on?” Ashley comes bouncing into the kitchen and the look he gives us as Jack fills him in on everything is enough for both me and Brooke to know there’s no arguing.

“You ladies shall go to the ball, no arguments! Jack and I and Liam are on stand-by for anything variety needs tonight so you’ll both be enjoying and that’s an order! His dramatic personality never fails to make me laugh.

“Oh, are we now?” Jack tries looking sternly at Ashley but he can never pull it off.

“Yes, we are my beautiful man, but don’t worry you will be rewarded well!” He winks at Jack and that’s the end of his attempt at looking stern. “Aww don’t be jealous Liam you know I only have eyes for you!” Ashley puckers up his lips as Jack rolls his eyes laughing.

“Glad to hear it!” Liam winks back and now I’m laughing, these two never fail to make me laugh with their friendship.

“Oh, by the way, me and Jack are on stand-by for anything variety needs tonight while she’s looking after Bella and you’re joining us.”

“Of course, not a problem with me!” Liam answers as he makes his way towards me, he takes Bella out of my arms and sits her in his lap as he takes the seat next to me, dinner will be served soon so we decide to hang out here ready to eat.

Soon enough we’ve all filled our bellies with the delicious food that Franny has made today, we finish talking about what will happen at the ball then decide to head back to our rooms to start getting ready.

Liam takes Bella out of her high chair and starts singing twinkle twinkle little star to her as he makes his way out of the kitchen, it’s her favourite song and it always settles her, hearing any of the guys sing that song to her always reminds me and Brooke of how Josh used to sing it to her.

“We’re off to see my parents before the ball,” He hollas back to us as he heads for the stairs with a giggling Bella in his arms. Seeing how he is with Bella does not help my crush on him one bit. I’ve got to speak to Brooke about this soon, hopefully, she can help me figure out how to deal with this crush before it drives me insane!

Beta Liam

After we finished our dinner, everyone headed off to start getting ready for the ball tonight, well mainly the women, we men don’t need long to get ready however the ladies, geez they take hours, and what confuses me more is that they are all beautiful so what they do for all them hours I’ll never know!

I decided to go see my parents for a while and take along little Bella, my parents love her and are always up for a visit of her.

“Hey, guys you home?” I call out while closing the living room door behind me.

“In the kitchen sweetheart!” Comes my mother’s angel voice. We make our way towards the kitchen while Bella continues to giggle at me as I blow raspberries on her belly.

“Ohh is that my little petal I can hear!” Comes my dad’s excited voice, honestly, the guy has never been someone to mess with even after handing his Beta title to me but when babies or children are involved, he turns into Winnie the pooh!

They quickly ender the lounge and before I can even blink my mom takes Bella from me and heads for the toy box, they keep in the corner for any children that visit.

As soon as I sit down there’s a knock on the door and Calvin walks in with Brooke right behind him. He always used to knock on the door and wait for someone to answer no matter how many times I told him to just walk in, if I was living here alone with my mate it would be different but as it is there’s no need for him to knock, it’s going to be a long time before that will be happening for me.
