It’s been almost 2 weeks since all them awful truths were revealed and my guilt hasn’t gotten any easier, it doesn’t matter how many times I’m told it wasn’t my fault, I still feel the weight of it and I’m not sure how to get away from it.

Marcus is still being held in a cell, Calvin doesn’t want to kill him yet, he’s hoping Liam can get his memory back before it happens, apparently, Liam deserves to understand everything before he’s killed, I’m not sure what’s going on but if it involved me Cal would tell me until then I’m staying out of it.

Sarah is still in a cell too, but I have no idea what’s going on with her, Cal came to see me before school today and asked me to head straight home from school for a meeting that he’s holding so maybe we’ll find out more then.

“You coming or what b***h face?” I’m rudely pulled back to reality by Katie, the girl is a massive pain in my a*s but I wouldn’t trade her for anything, as best friends go, she is at the top of the chain and has been an incredible support to me since we first meet.

Calvin allowed me to tell her everything that was going on, I trust her with my life and know she won’t tell a soul and it turns out her dad Toby is one of the guards that’s also involved with everything, everyone said he was a lower rank warrior but the strength and loyalty he has shown over the past couple of weeks makes him look anything but weak!

“Yes, let’s go!” Math is next and our second class of the day, It is also one of my favourite subjects, the rest of today isn’t looking great though, science, history, and art. I don’t mind history but the rest can kiss my a*s, none the less it’s got to be done, I’m just hoping today goes quick, I want to get home and find out what this meeting is about and the quicker the better.

Beta Liam

“Grrr ahh f**k!” f**k this s**t hurts! Annabella has been trying to help me break whatever spell has been put on me by those pair of bastards. If Sarah died the spell would die with her or if we could find the witch that cast it but Marcus isn’t being any help, so because Sarah is still alive the spell will fade over time but never completely leave me but I want it out of my system as soon as possible so Annabella is trying to find a way to get it out of me, unfortunately for me so far, it’s been all pain and no gain!

We’re on my floor, I’m stretched out on the sofa while Annabella hovers over me trying out her latest theory, it’s the most painful one so far but I’ll take whatever pain I need to get my life and memory back, thankfully I’m not suffering any side effects from a mate bond. Annabella thinks the only reason I was able to fight it as I did was that it wasn’t as strong as needed and for that, I’m f*****g grateful!

“How’s it going brother?” I look towards the door to see Calvin and Brooke coming inside, Bella on Calvin’s arm babbling to herself while Brooke is still in her pajamas, the poor girl looks bad.

“Still the same mate, morning sickness still not letting up Brooke?” She’s been having a really tough time with it this past week and I really feel for the girl.

“Nope, still goooing!” She sings out with a smile on her face, only she could be smiling whilst suffering like she is.

“Let’s take a break, Liam, get some dinner and then we can talk about where to go from here, how does that sound?” Annabella moves to sit down while talking to me and as much as I just want to keep going, I can’t deny the hunger in my stomach is at its peak, even in pain I’m a bottomless pit.

“Fancy trying to eat something baby? I know you are struggling but you still need to eat!” Calvin gently rubs Brooke’s stomach, speaking gently trying to coax her into eating, he told me last night he was worried about her as she’s throwing up all the time and barely eating but doesn’t want to take anything to help it.

“I’ll try and eat something, come on let’s head down they’ll be serving it soon!” Brooke takes Cal’s hand and starts making her way to the door but before they get outside Annabella calls Cal asking him for a quick chat.

“Come on Brooke, let’s head down to the kitchen and nab the best food first!” I quickly swipe Bella out of Calvin’s arms and hold out my free arm to Brooke, she links her arm with mine as we leave Cal and Annabella to chat, Brooke and Calvin share a strange look but I choose to ignore it as we make our way to the kitchen.

Alpha Calvin

“What’s the look for Alpha?” Annabella didn’t miss the look me and Brooke shared before she left with Liam and Bella.

“That’s the first time Liam has held Bella or given her any real attention since all this started, I know it may seem strange but if you knew how close he was to her before you’d understand.”

“I have heard of how he was with her, and him doing what he just did is a brilliant sign, it shows the spell is breaking slowly but I worry it’s too slow!” Huh? She can see my confusion and continues to explain.
