Thalia POV
I knew Isaiah wasn’t going to wait to mark Kaia. He was desperate for his mate. When they came outside, her scent definitely changed, and she smelled a whole lot like Isaiah, which told me they were definitely in the middle of enjoying their new mate bond.
I don’t know why rogues came to attack us, but we have three of them in the dungeons now. Aiden is super worried I could be pregnant, but until that is confirmed, I’m not going to stand around and let everyone else get in the action.
I’ve noticed my brother is checking Sinclair. He likes her. I don’t blame him. She is smart and pretty and has a lot to offer anyone, but she just turned. She hasn’t had a chance to find her mate yet, and honestly, I don’t think she cares about having a mate. We were all getting ready to go to the dining hall when she mentioned she had the keepsake and the paperwork from her adoption.
What she wants is to feel like she belongs somewhere, and Blackstone represents that to her. It represents that to Kaia and me as well. I think that’s why we all got along. We all felt alone in the world, and then we got here and everything changed.
‘You will never be alone again, mojito.’ Aiden says in the mind link. He’s listening to my thoughts again.
‘I will always pay attention to my sexy ass mate.’ He growled.
‘I want the full force of my mate in bed tonight.’ I growled back.
I looked at him, and his eyes were dark with desire. It sent a shiver down my spine, and I am one lucky girl to have a man like him as my mate.
I walk over to him, and he immediately kisses me, and then I feel suspended in the air.
“Sinclair has part of the tool.” I heard the Moon Goddess say.
“She does? Does she know?” I asked.
“The keepsake. But you need more. You will find it.” The Moon Goddess said, and then I snapped back to reality.
“Mojito?” Aiden said, looking at me with concern. “What happened?”
I’m trying to steady myself. Everything just now was so unexpected that I feel a little lightheaded. “I think I need to sit,” I said weakly.
Aiden immediately scoops me up, and Austin and Rebel come up and look at me with concern. “Thalia, is everything okay?”
“Sinclair?”
“I’m right here.” She says, running up with Isaiah, Kaia, and Rodrigo.
“What is the keepsake?”
“It’s a necklace with a pendant.” She said.
Isaiah speaks up, though. “The pendant has a small Purple Altantonite.”
Austin whips his head. “Are you serious?”
“Yeah. I couldn’t believe it either, Dad, but it’s true.”
