Isaiah POV
When I got the text from Adrian, I knew something was terribly wrong. Kaia saw, rather felt, my anxiety.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
“Adrian said the mate bond snapped with Amber and that her wolf was gone. Doctors and nurses were in her room, treating her.”
She sucked in a breath. “She’s gone, isn’t she?”
“I think so, but Adrian hasn’t confirmed. I told him to call Aiden.”
“You should call Aiden. Adrian isn’t thinking straight.”
She’s right, so I called Aiden.
“Hey, bro. What’s up?”
“Adrian needs us. Can you get to Ironclaw?”
“What happened?” Aiden asked seriously.
I told him about the text messages and what Kaia and I are thinking. He growled low. “Son of a bitch. I’m on my way. Is Sinclair still searching for Ronan?”
“Yeah. She opted to stay behind to continue her search. We are going back next week to bring her back,” I replied.
“Okay. I’ll call her and tell her I want daily status updates on Ronan. That bastard is going to pay.”
“Damn right he is,” I said. “I’ll meet you at Ironclaw.”
“Got it.”
We hang up, and after about another thirty minutes, we finally land. I carefully get Kaia into the SUV, and we head for Ironclaw. When we get there, we go straight to the pack hospital.
Kaia and I entered, and I saw Mom, Dad, Aiden, Thalia, Aric, and Niall, all sitting with Adrian. Adrian looks like he is trying to hold it together. But I know him. He is dying inside. We have always had a bond. When he sees me, his eyes go red-rimmed.
I walked up and pulled my brother in for a hug. “We are going to find that bastard and kill him, Adrian.”
When I let go, Kaia pulls him in for a hug. “Sinclair is already tracking him down. If anyone can find that asshole, it’s her.”
Mom hugs Adrian. “I love you so much, my son. Anything you need, just ask.”
“Thank you, everyone. I need time. I need space. After the funeral, I’m going to head to the coast and spend some time there. I’m going to find her aunt and ask her to spread her ashes with me. She was the only one who loved Amber in that fucking family.”
As soon as he finished saying his plans, a set of double doors opened, and the doctor walked in. In his hands is a simple silver urn. His eyes are somber as he gives the urn to Adrian.
“Again, I’m sorry for your loss, Alpha Adrian.”
Adrian is staring at the urn, not saying a word. I nod at the doctor, and he walks away. Everyone is watching Adrian. Without warning, he collapses to his knees and starts sobbing.
Mom is on the ground next to my brother, holding him. Kaia and Thalia are crying. Dad’s eyes are red-rimmed. Aric and Niall both look somber, and their fists are clenched tightly.
“I’m sorry, Amber. I’m so fucking, sorry,” I hear my brother whisper as he continues to sob.
Meanwhile, all I feel is fury. My brother’s pain. Amber’s death. Sinclair’s stolen life. It’s all because of Ronan. His days are numbered. I already know that Aiden and I are going to pour all the resources we can into helping Sinclair find Ronan. His evil deeds will not go unanswered. We are going to bring him down.
Ronan’s quest for revenge has landed him in the middle of a minefield. He doesn’t know it yet, but he came for the wrong family.

What happened to the storyline? After Chp 100 it is a completely different story! This is terrible!...
So many missing chapters and repetitions. A different story altogether from chapter 101...
