Isaiah POV
I’m talking to Aiden in my office when Kaia walks in. She is wearing black stretch pants and a black maternity dress shirt. She is ready for the funeral as well. She also has her phone in her hand.
"Guys, I updated Sinclair. She said she is closing in on Ronan. She needs predictive software. He's bouncing between three different locations, and she wants to understand the pattern.”
Aiden answered before me. “Done. Tell her to get it, and I will reimburse the cost.”
She sent the message, and within a minute, Sinclair responded. Kaia smiled at the message.
“What did she say?” I asked.
“She said that she will hopefully have something by tomorrow.”
“That fast?” Aiden asked, surprised.
“Once she figured out the best way to track that bastard, it became easy for her. We will get him.”
From behind us, we heard Adrian. “Sinclair found him?”
Kaia answered. “Almost. Hopefully by tomorrow.”
“Then I’m not leaving until we know for sure,” he said determinedly.
Aiden stood up. “Adrian, you need to grieve.”
“Don’t, brother…,” he said. “She is gone because of Ronan. He is mine to kill.”
I sighed and stood up. I walked over to my brother and put my hand on his shoulder. “Once we know, I will tell you. We all want him dead, Adrian. No one is stopping you; we are just worried about you.”
‘Don’t say anything to him when we find out, Kaia. Let’s analyze first, then tell him with a plan in hand, okay?' I say to Kaia in the link.
'Agreed. He can’t go in all brawn and no brains.’
I chuckled in the link. Leave it to my mate to say something witty during a moment like this. I closed the link and kept my focus on Adrian. His jaw is clenched tight, and he is barely holding it together.
“How about Storn and Thor go for a run. We have to wait for Sinclair to report to us anyway. It’ll help clear your mind,” I suggested.
Adrian sighed and nodded. I looked at Adrian and Kaia. “We will be back later. Mind link me if you hear from Sinclair.”
Kaia kissed me. “I’ll see you in a little while.”
She then turned to Adrian. “I’ll tell you what I told Isaiah and Adrian; If anyone can find that bastard, it’s Sinclair.”
Adrian and I left. When we got outside, we stripped, shifted, and took off running. The entire time, Storn is feeling how hard his brother is going. Thor is in just as much pain. Tika was his mate, too.
“My cruelty was not, though.”
“I understand why this is making it harder on you than it should, but this isn’t your fault. You were put in this situation by someone else. She wasn’t the only victim. If anything, she was an accomplice to your suffering. You had every right to feel what you felt,” I said, trying to help him past this ache he has in his heart.
“She was a victim too, though.”
“Did she ever tell you how she got mixed up with him?”
“I didn’t want to know. It doesn’t change the end result, Isaiah.”
He’s right. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not important. Ronan used her. She allowed it. She hurt my brother. Then she dies, and in an odd way, is still hurting my brother.
“Maybe not, Adrian, but you are still a victim. Even now, she is still hurting you. She may not have been able to help dying, but you are not responsible for the betrayal. You are not responsible for the knife to her chest. You are not responsible for the blood clot. You cannot own something that you didn’t cause.”
He took a deep breath. “I only feel terrible about our last conversation, Isaiah. I shouldn’t have hurt her further.”
“She hurt you for years, Adrian. You were miserable. It shouldn’t have felt like that for you. It shouldn’t feel like that for anyone. Look around you, Adrian. Mates are happy together. Her actions caused you years of harm, Adrian. You spoke up and told her how you felt because of her actions. You should not feel bad. You said something harsh, I will give you that, but it wasn’t unjustified. Stop beating yourself up over it. We all loved Amber, but we love you too, man,” I tell him, trying to help him get past his trauma, because he is traumatized by all this.
“Do you think she was hating me before she died?” he asked.
“Adrian, don’t do that. Whether she did or didn’t, doesn’t matter. It doesn’t change the years of hurt she caused you. It doesn’t change the years of hurt Ronan caused you.”

What happened to the storyline? After Chp 100 it is a completely different story! This is terrible!...
So many missing chapters and repetitions. A different story altogether from chapter 101...
