His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 142

Chapter 142

Rebel POV

One of the omegas came in to feed me. I’m still too weak to do anything. “Is there anything in this food other than food?” I asked her.

“No Luna. Alpha Cullen said to make sure you were fed.” She said.

“What’s your name?”

“I’m Madeline.” She said.

“Madeline, am I in Ironclaw territory?” I inquire.

“Yes Luna. You were brought in through a different entrance, but you are in Ironclaw.” She confirmed.

“Is this the pack house?” I try to sound like I’m curious and non-chalant. I don’t want to give way to

nervousness.

“Yes, Luna. Since you were brought in through a different entrance, no one knows you are here or saw you come in. There are only the guards that brought you, Alpha Cullen and two of us Omegas. You are to be kept hidden until a battle is won. At least, that is what Alpha Cullen says.

“What battle?” I ask.

“Well, against Blackstone, of course. Alpha Cullen says that Blackstone should have been his.”

“Why is that?” I ask.

“So, from what I understand, both Alphas from Blackstone and Ironclaw worked together to find the mines. Once the mines were found, the Alpha from Ironclaw gave up his claims to the mine and left it to Blackstone. Blackstone in turn left us with everything for the steel manufacturing. That was the treaty that was signed. But Alpha Cullen’s father didn’t want to renew the treaty when he took over, saying that the wealth from the mines should have been shared. Alpha Austin’s father, I’m told, tried to reach an agreement, but Alpha Cullen’s father thought that mines should change ownership for the duration of 50 years. Alpha Austin’s father argued, that it would leave Blackstone desolate since Ironclaw wasn’t exchanging any of the steel production. Anyway, that’s what created the feud. Since then, Ironclaw and Blackstone have been fighting over the mines and its wealth.”

She finished.

Well, isn’t that interesting? The hatred goes back generations. Cullen is following in his father’s footsteps and Austin isn’t trying to entertain him, when attempts in the past were made, but refused. Now Cullen thinks he has the upper hand because of me.

“What about the council. Did they intervene?”

“No Luna. When they reviewed the original treaty and saw that it expired and Blackstone made attempts in good faith to resolve the disharmony between the packs, they concluded that Ironclaw was not entitled to any part of the mines, since they relinquished their ownership all those years ago.’

“Thank you for sharing this with me and for helping me eat Madeline. I appreciate your kindness.”

“Of course, Luna. I think you will make a fine Luna for Alpha Cullen. He has been searching for his Luna for a

long time.” She says and she makes to leave the room.

She is calling me Luna because she thinks I am going to be Cullen’s Luna. Not because she is aware that I am already the Luna of Blackstone. I’ll keep that to myself. I am appreciative of the history lesson she just gave me though. I wonder if there were any clauses in the original treaty about this situation? I’m still trying to figure out how I can get out of here. I feel that much more nervous if the omegas think I’m their future Luna. Do they think tying up a future Luna is normal? Maybe this place is more depraved than I imagined.

Since I am sitting up and the dizziness has subsided, I take a moment to look around the room. The table full of instruments look weird, but one looks like a cock. I don’t like the creepy vibes I’m getting from that table. The wooden “X” has restraints on them and the other wall behind me has different kinds of apparatuses, but they all look like things to hit someone with, and I don’t like it at all.

I look up and close my eyes. “Please Moon Goddess, help me escape this place. Please let Austin find me soon.”

Cullen POV

Right now, I’m on cloud nine. I’m making sure Rebel gains enough strength to withstand the paces I’m going to put her through. I will show her plenty of pleasure and pain. While I make sure, she is enjoying it, I will know that Austin is suffering. It’s a win-win for me.

I know that she is eating. I will give her a little while to let her settle. Then I will go in there and start having some fun. I know the little touch to her nipple would have sent a pain to Austin. I want that fucker to know what is going to await him. He should have given me the mines when he had the chance. Now he is forfeiting his life.

Either way, I’m getting off and making sure that my Luna will get off too. Jax is practically jumping up and down in my head to have our mate back. It’s nice to have him happy with me instead of the constant bitching. I am sure once we mark Rebel, her wolf will fall in line..

‘Roxie is a feisty one. I will have fun hunting her.’ Jax grinned in my head. I swear he’s acting like a teenage boy with a monster hard on in my head.

‘We will have our chance Jax. Just a little more patience is needed. We need Rebel to help us eliminate Austin and then once he is gone, we will make her ours officially. Hang in there buddy.’

He jumps happily to the back of my head and I feel so good about these turn of events, that I decide to go visit my Luna again. As I make my way to her room down the hall, I run into my beta.

“Max, any news?” I know he isn’t happy about kidnapping Rebel, but he is here to serve me and eventually, once Rebel is wearing my mark, her as well.

“Nothing, Alpha. I must implore you to reconsider what you are about to do. This could go terribly wrong and we could lose the pack.” He pleads.

Seriously, Max can be a bitch sometimes. “Max, the greater the risk, the higher the reward.”

“Or the harder the fall. I don’t think this is a good idea. Ironclaw is a solid pack. We don’t need the gem mines and we don’t need Luna Rebel.” He said.

“Those gem mines belong to the Ironclaw pack. We were cheated out of them by Austin’s grandfather. If the council doesn’t want to help us, then we have to take matters into our own hands. Rebel was my mate first. I am
