His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 176

Chapter 176

Austin POV

My head is throbbing and my arms are sore. There is a stinging at my wrists too. ‘Cronos?’

Silence. Fuck. What happened? I’m trying to remember. I open my eyes, I’m in dark room. There is a solid wooden door with several locks on it in front of me. There is a small window to the side. Not large enough for my frame to escape through. I move my hands and the restraints are biting into my skin. I look up and see it’s laced with silver. No wonder I can’t reach Cronos.

Last, I remember, Morgana was trying to kidnap Rebel. Instead, I jumped on her and dragged her through the portal. Then everything went black. She didn’t get Rebel or the boys though. So I’m happy to sit here and deal with the bitch myself, as long as she doesn’t go after my family.

Since I’m bound in silver, I can’t mind link anyone either. Though, I doubt that I am near the pack borders. I need to think of a way out of this fucking place. My shoulders are stiff and I need to try getting up. I make my way to stand but my ankles are shackled too. I force my legs to work and stand. I’m shaking when I’m able to lower my shoulders some and let some feeling return to them.

I’m looking around and even though the room is dark, I can still see everything. It was night time when I arrived at Blackstone. I’m hoping I was only out for a couple of hours, but it could have been days for all I know.

I hear the door start unlocking all the locks. When it finally swings open, two rogues enter. One has a scar on his face, crossing over his eye and the other has one visible on his arm. Both have a foul stench to their scent and it’s nauseating. Behind them enters Morgana. Her smirk and gleam in her eyes tells me that she has something up her sleeve.

“Where am I, witch?” I ask.

“Now, now, Alpha Austin, is that anyway to talk to your host?” She says sarcastically.

“You’re my kidnapper, not host. Don’t glamorize what you are, a scheming bitch.” I say deadpan.

“Well, you went all heroic saving your mate from being kidnapped again. Seriously, she’s a fighter that keeps needing you to fight her battles. Had you not intervened, it would be her here right now. Suffering from head to toe. But no, you just had to meddle. You were supposed to be with Liora, having dinner. What changed your mind, Alpha?”

“Call it, divine intervention.”

“Well, I’ve pivoted my plans now and you are the star of the show. Rebel will still suffer, but it will be from your hands, not mine.” She said menacingly.

“You’re crazy if you think I am going to help you hurt my family.”

“You will, and you won’t be able to control it,” She laughs and turns to the rogues, “Hold him down and open his mouth.”

The rogues approach me, and I might be injured and chained up, but I’ll be damn if I don’t put up a fight. As they come near me, I growl and they hit me in my gut. I head butt one of the rogues and they hit me in the stomach a second time. I start coughing and they hold my head up. I see Morgana uncork a vial and is coming towards me with an evil grin.

“Just a nightcap to get you energized.” She says laughing while she pours it down my mouth. I try to spit it out, but the rogues close my mouth and force me to swallow it.

“What the fuck did you do?!” I growl, becoming dizzy.

“Oh nothing, just a highly concentrated aphrodisiac with extra tribulus terrestris oils to enhance your testosterone levels,” She smiled, “In an hour, I’ll make sure you have appropriate company to help you relieve the pressure you will be feeling. You will have every bit of release you need then.”

You have got to be fucking kidding me? She drugged me to make me fuck another woman? That’s going to kill Rebel. She will feel the betrayal pains. I’m chained up, I can’t get away, and I am already dizzy. The effects of the drug is going to kick in quickly if it’s concentrated and I will have no way to stop it.

Rebel has to know I love her and only her. Just like I know she only loves me. She has to know I would never betray her. I would never break her heart. I’m going to need every last bit of strength in me to fight what’s coming and without my wolf, it’s going to be that much harder.

Rebel POV

I’m in Austin’s office, smelling his scent and focusing on where to go find him. Renz knocks and I tell him to enter. “Have you found anything yet?”

“Not yet, Luna. We are working on it.”

“Don’t we have trackers?”

“We do. But they haven’t caught his scent yet.”
