Rebel POV

I race in the direction that the scout gives me. I see rogues guarding the outside. I mind link the warriors, ‘Cut them down. No one walks out of here alive for taking my mate. But Morgana is MINE!’

All around me I hear snarls and jaws snapping. I shift to Roxie who has been itching to get to our mate. I lower my head and put all my power into running into that cottage and wreaking havoc on that bitch. I want to end this, and I have no problems being the nightmare in her fucking dream.

I reached the cottage and burst through the door to see Morgana trying to make a portal but failing. The potion definitely worked. She screams and I lunge for her, but a rogue hidden in a dark space, slams into my body, knocking me out of the way effectively blocking my path to Morgana.

I’m now fighting the rogue and out of the corner of my eye I see Morgana unlocking a door, trying to escape. I’m only seeing red when I see her trying to get away as she enters the room. I grabbed a silver knife that I spotted on the table and stabbed it into the rogue’s neck. I see the life leave his body and then hear scuffling in the room that Morgana went into a few moments earlier.

I bust the door open only to see Morgana with another witch that looks like me going through a portal. My mate, my love, my Austin, is on the floor, sweating terribly, and I see burn marks on his hands. I snarl wanting to go after Morgana, but she just looks at me through the portal with a sneer on her face.

“I’ll be back to finish this, Rebel. I won’t rest until your blood line is dead.” She said as the portal finishes closing.

Once they are gone, I run to my mate, “Austin! Austin…baby, what’s wrong?”

“Rebel? Did you give Reese his medicine?” He mumbles

What is he talking about? “Austin, baby, I’m going to get these chains off you, okay? Aiden and Reid are fine. I don’t know who Reese is, my love.”

I start removing the chains from his wrists and then move to the ankles. He has burns in his palms. When I look around, I see the broken joints on the wall. Austin must have pulled them down and burned his hands in the

process.

“Rebel, I need you.” Austin starts saying and I know it’s the drugs. I need to get him out of here and to the pack hospital. I mind link Renz and Jessup for help, and they come rushing in to grab him.

They are helping to lift him, and he is groaning in pain. My poor mate. What he must have suffered from those bitches. I still don’t know who the other witch is, but I will destroy them both when I get my claws on them.

“Austin, my love, you’ve been drugged. We need to take you to the pack hospital, okay? I’m not going anywhere.” I kiss him and he grabs me and pulls me to him. He’s trying to take me in front of Renz and Jessup. How embarrassing.

I grab his face, “Austin, look at me.”

I see his eyes full of lust and I tell him, “I will let you have your way with me as much as you want when we are home, but right now, I need to get you to the pack hospital. Can you let Renz and Jessup help you get up?”

“Promise?” He says with a little smirk and clearly still under the influence of the drugs.

“I promise, come on, let’s go, my love.” I say.

I see Renz and Jessup smirking too. I start blushing, realizing what I just did in front of them. Screw it, he’s my mate, they know how babies are made. I’m not dwelling on it for a minute longer.

Renz started speaking, “Alpha, I can get you to the pack hospital quicker if you ride on my wolf. Rebel and Jessup will flank me, okay?”

I see Austin’s eyes droop, and he grunts. I don’t know what is in that potion he was given, but it’s doing things to him. I ask Renz to shift, “Jessup, help me get Austin on Renz’ wolf.”

As we get Austin on him, I look to the wolf eyes in front of me, “If you need to switch, let me know.” Austin is a big man and it’s going to be a hard to get him through the Eastern border and to the pack hospital.

The other warriors see Renz carrying out Austin, and they breathe a sigh of relief. Clearly, they love their Alpha, and it warms my heart. I mind link everyone, “Your Alpha has been drugged. We need to get him to the pack hospital. I need warriors to circle and protect your Alpha. Any volunteers to help carry him along with Renz?”
