I understand how that can be a useful gift. “Jane, do not feel guilty for not understanding what was happening. It was your first experience with your gift, right?”

She nodded her head shyly. “Then you could not have known that this was a gift. I’m back now, and I’m perfectly healthy. So, you don’t need to feel bad. If something like this were to happen again, then you would know to alert us immediately and we could plan and map out what you saw.” I finished smiling at her encouragingly.

Jessup then speaks up, “All 1 hear is that my mate is gifted inside and outside the bedroom.’

That broke up the sobering mood, and we all laughed, while Jane blushed furiously and smacked Jessup. “Watch it, or you will be on the couch tonight!” She glared at him, “You already know the way there too!”

Which made Renz and I laugh harder at the expression on Jessup’s face. I love everyone at this table. We know how to be there for one another. I feel like a lucky man to have a beautiful mate, an amazing leadership team, and a pack that values me as their Alpha.

“Right then,” I said, “I am going to mind link all warriors to report to the training facility for an enclosed private meeting. Reid is already gathering the warriors to patrol for us, while we catalog the talents of the warriors.”

I send the announcement through the pack link and grab Rebel’s hand as we make our way to the training facility. After everyone arrives and we have full attendance, I start explaining to everyone our purpose for the

meeting.

Rebel steps forward and explains the scouts and then Jane steps forward and explains her gift from the Moon Goddess.

“Now, even if you are unaware of any gifts you may have, that’s okay. It just may not have been granted to you yet, or you don’t realize it’s a gift. Gamma Jane is a perfect example of not knowing of her gift until after the fact. I would implore everyone, however, that if your situation matches something similar to your Gamma female, that you report it to us after today, so we know who can do what at the right time. This will help us be stronger as a group. Understood?”

“Yes, Alpha!”

“Very good. Please get into one of six lines. All of ranked leadership will record your name, position as a warrior and your talent, if any.”

It takes four hours to complete this exercise and by the end I think Renz, Jessup and I are going cross-eyed, while Rebel, Lacey and Jane are laughing and carrying on. Clearly, gossip is a woman’s thing, and this probably qualifies as gossip to some extent; making us men, woefully unprepared.

I look at Renz and Jessup, “I need a drink after all that talking; what about you two?”

“Lead the way, Austin.” Renz said and Jessup co-signed.
