Aiden POV

Seeing Thalia with her family, especially her sister, let me know how much she values family. Once again, it seems contradictory to her relationship with her father. Whatever happened between them must have been bad.

“So Thalia, we know your sister loves medicine and wants to become a doctor,” Sophia said, “What about you? What interests do you have?”

She looks stumped by the question. So I try to help her, “The first time I saw Thalia, she was on stage singing. She was beautiful and has a beautiful voice.”

Thalia looks at me gratefully. “I like to sing, Tia. Outside of that, I like doing make up and hair.” She said. Which caught me off guard. I mean, she doesn’t need any makeup. She is a natural beauty.

Sophia gave her one of her gentle smiles. It’s the smile she gives when she accepts the answer but knows there is more to it. Maybe she has information she can tell me about later. I need to remember to ask her when we are alone.

“Prima, how do you feel about becoming our Luna?” Eddy asks Thalia.

“It’s a little overwhelming, but I’m sure I will adjust.” She says with a smile that doesn’t touch her eyes. I understand how all this is new to her. I will talk to her about it later tonight when we are alone.

“What about accepting Alpha Aiden as your Alpha?” He followed up.

This time Mia answers, “I’m excited. I didn’t grow up in a pack, primo. Neither did Thalia. This is all new to us.”

“Exactly, primo. We are excited though.” She says once again with a smile that doesn’t reach her eyes. Does she not want to be in the pack or with me?

“Well, since we are just about done with dinner, which was delicious, thank you Sophie.” I began, “Perhaps we can move to the living room and you both can accept me as your alpha.” I finished.

Mia was the first to jump up, “Okay! How about we help Tia clear off the table and then we can move to the living room?”

Thalia gets up and smiles at Mia. That is the first smile tonight that she has given a genuine smile. Her sister is clearly the most important person to her. She’s been protecting her since I met her.

I hear both of them gasp and I chuckle. Raul and Sophie also chuckle. “Pretty cool, huh?” I say to Thalia and her sister.

I offer her my hand and she takes it. We walk out together and we start heading back to the pack house. I was going to see my parents, but that will need to be tomorrow. I already let them know via the mind link and they were happy to wait until tomorrow.
