His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 298

Chapter 298

Armando POV

I’m on my way to Diego’s house. He said he has news for me about Thalia and Mia. He has been beside himself trying to find his daughters. Me on the other hand, I’m pissed. Thalia left because she didn’t want to marry me.

The longer she is gone, the longer I think about everything. She didn’t want to marry me. What the fuck is wrong with me? I’m eligible, rich, and heir to the Reyes family. Women are constantly all over me. I had two in my bed last night even. The one woman I want, that I seriously want, doesn’t want me and I can’t understand it.

When I find her, I will force her to marry me. She will come to learn I’m a catch and she will realize how lucky she is I want her as much as I do. I definitely want her in bed. She is fucking gorgeous. I want to explore every inch of her body and fuck her the way a woman like her ought to be fucked.

I push the thoughts away for now. Right now, finding her and her sister is the most important task. As I reach Diego’s house, I ring the doorbell. One of his bodyguards opens the door. “Mr. Reyes, Don Diego is waiting for you in his study.” He said inviting me in.

“Thank you.” I said and started walking down the hall until I got to the last door on the right. I hear through the door Diego arguing with someone.

“You are a tracker. So, track. Do not come here empty handed again.” He said and it sounded like he was growling. It sounded beastly, which is not something I have ever heard come from Diego before.

I knock on the door. “COME IN.” Diego says loudly.

I open the door casually and enter the room. “Don Diego. What news do you have?”

“Ah, Armando, hijo, yes there are a couple of updates about Thalia and Mia. Come sit.” He says as he dismisses the other guard.

I grab a seat and as soon as the door closes, He sighs and sits down. “First, you were right. Thalia and Mia walked right out the front door, in very good disguises. I was able to pull of video footage from down the block and got the license plate of the car they were driving.”

“So, you found them?” I said, and I feel myself getting excited.

“Not yet. I managed to tap into surveillance cameras in the area. They switched cars at an industrial park. From there, they went to a hotel under a fake name. How Thalia

managed to get a fake ID, I don’t know. She has never hung around people that would have access to those kinds of documents. I never introduced her to anyone like that either.”

“Well, she is a mafia princess, Don Diego. Maybe one of the guards is soft on her.” “The only one to be soft on her was Vicente. I killed him for betraying me.

I sat back; he killed his guard for being soft on his daughter? Seems a bit excessive, but I don’t know all the particulars and frankly, I could give a rat’s ass.

“Anyway,” he continued, “she and Mia left the hotel the next morning and headed west. The last place she was seen was in a gas station, filling up the tank. After that, we lost her trail. We are working on it though. She was driving a car that at best got three hundred miles a tank. So, we are starting from the furthest point and working our way back.”

“Do you think she could have visited any friends or family?” I asked.

“Thalia has always been a bit of a loner. Her main focus was always Mia.” Diego said. “And she hasn’t seen her uncle since she was fourteen. That’s her only other relative. She doesn’t know where he lives and to be honest, neither do I.”

“What about her cell phone records?” I asked.

“Dead end. Last time it was used was before the wedding. No calls to out. Only one call in and it was some telemarketer number. She didn’t have friends or anyone that she could call, Armando.”

“Don’t you find that a bit odd? She is a beautiful, twenty-four-year-old woman. No friends, no one to call? Why was she a loner? She wasn’t afraid to get on a stage and sing Don Diego. Most people who are loners don’t put themselves in that kind of situation. Are you sure you know your daughter?” I asked.

“Are you sure you want to question me, Armando?” He said, looking visibly upset. “I raised my daughter. I know her well. I will also find her. Then I will make sure you and her go to city hall and get your marriage certificate. Once you both have that, you will be married and the wedding will just be a formality.”

I can see I am not going to get anywhere else in this conversation. I stood up and shake his hand. “I appreciate the update, Don Diego. Please keep me in the loop. I will have my men work from the gas station towards that three-hundred-mile point. We can cover more ground that way. Please send me the pin of the location and I will get started right away.”

“Thank you, Armando. We are close to finding the both of them. We will get things
