Chapter 310
Alden POV
I have been researching everything I can about Thalla’s situation. I really want to help her get her wolf back. Leon is starting to worry that we won’t be able to help her wolf. Her father, giving her those damn Hepane pills, has really screwed things up. Henbane in a pup is just as deadly as wolfsbane.
I called Dr. Higslee. He is the only other doctor I could think of that is as brilliant as Raul. He didn’t have answers either. He did commit to calling Raul and talking with him about Thalia and seeing if they can figure something out. I am starting to worry about not being able to help my mate.
‘We have to figure this out, Aiden. My mates there. I feel her. She’s trapped!’ Leon is pacing in my head. Honestly, it’s giving me a headache.
‘Leon, you know I’m trying. If you have any leas, I’m all cars.’ I tell my wolf. ‘Could you please stop pacing? You’re giving me a headache.’
Leon retreats to the back of my mind and thank fuck for small favors.
1 hear a knock at the door and when I tell the visitor to come in, Isaiah walks through my office door. His nostrils flair and he smirks with a knowing look.
“Have you and Thalia started christening other rooms now?”
I flip him off, “What do you want?”
“Mia’s turns eighteen tonight. I’m hoping she is my mate.” He said.
“You’ll find out at midnight.”
‘Yeah, but you are not even dressed for the party, and you need to get ready. How else are you supposed to congratulate us, if the Moon Goddess pairs us together?” He smiled.
I shake my head. “Do you really think she is your mate? There are a lot of other men that are hoping she is their mate too. She’s a beautiful woman and she is smart. It’s attractive to a lot of men.”
“What did it feel like for you?” He asked me
“Leon was pacing in my head before I even saw or scented Thalia. I felt agitated and wanted to search for my mate, even though had no idea who she was, what she looked like, or even her name. Reid experienced the same thing with Chase when he found out that he was mated to Navy.”

I see some of the hope fade from Isaiah’s eyes. I hate telling him that Mia may not be his mate, but I am trying to save him from heartbreak. I do decide to give him a little bit of hope though. “These are just my experiences, though. I could be completely wrong. So, if Mia is your mate, then I will be the first in line to congratulate you both, brother.”
Isaiah smiled. I can tell he is holding on to a shred of hope. “Right, well you can’t do that if you don’t go get ready, bro. Enough with the paperwork already.”
I laugh and get up from my desk and Isaiah is laughing at me. “What’s so funny?”
“Couldn’t finish dressing yourself? Your fly is down.” He said.
I look down, and sure enough, my flying is open. I zip up and smile, “When you your mate, I hope you have these moments too.”

“Me too, bro.” Isaiah says as he sighs, and we walk out of the office.
After I take a shower, I start getting dressed when Thalia says she is on her way Mia and Raul to the dining hall. I decided to get dressed in black pants and a black shirt. My mom always said black is a timeless color. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure I can’t dress myself any fancier.

I head down to the dining hall and when I enter, I see Thalia. My whole world stops. She looks like my queen. That red dress, the corset with lace, her cleavage, my Goddess, she looks like thunder in that red dress.
A growl escapes from my chest, and everyone stops and looks at me. I, however, could care less. I only have eyes for the brown eyed, Latina, with curves windier than a mountain road walking towards me with her hips naturally swaying like a damn pendulum.
“Hi.” She says shyly.
“You look like thunder in that dress baby. Electrifying and dangerous.” I said.
“Don’t try to sell me thunder, when I already live in your storm, papi.” She said seductively.
I mind link her, ‘I’m going to enjoy getting you out of that sinfully red dress tonight, tiger.’
‘Desperate to hear me roar tonight?’ She smirked.
‘More like make you scream my name.’ I growled as I kissed her.
“Fuck, bro. Tone down the aura before it reaches the other side of the dining hall.”

Isaiah said, laughing. Making Thalia laugh too.
“Hello, Isaiah.” She says.
“Damn, sis. You look like great!” He said. “Where’s Mia?”
“She’s on the other side of the dining hall. Emerald, green dress. Her hair is down today, too.”
Isaiah smiles, “Thanks. I’ll leave you two alone now.
