Thalia POV

I run over and hugged both Kaia and Sinclair. “Oh my goddess, I can’t believe you both actually did it! How long before you shift?”

Sinclair speaks first, “Any minute,”

Then Kaia speaks up, “I hope it’s not as painful as what we just went through.”

Aiden chuckles, “First shift hurts the most and after that, it doesn’t hurt hardly at all. I would suggest stripping down though. Your clothes are going to shred otherwise.”

I smiled as Kaia and Sinclair both blushed. “Guapo, Tio, can you both turn around until the shift is over? It’s their first time after all.”

They both agree but said they are staying in case something happened. As soon as they turned around, Kaia and Sinclair quickly stripped. It’s a good thing that they were quick about it. Only thirty seconds later, Sinclair screamed out with the snapping of the first bone, followed by Kaia doing the same thing.

“Girlies, get on the ground, it will make it a little easier.” I said quickly.

They both drop to their knees. I noticed Sinclair’s back is covered in scars. Whip marks to be exact. I know firsthand how much whip marks hurt. These look very old. I furrow my brows, wondering what is the story. I will figure that out after she returns. Tonight needs to be a celebration and I won’t bring up bad memories for her.

Sinclair was a little faster at the shift, probably because she finished the transition first. I am hearing the bones crack and after a couple of minutes, I see Sinclair is a gray wolf and Kaia is a brown wolf. I note that Sinclair’s scars can’t be seen on her wolf unless you look closely. Kaia didn’t have any scars on her, and her wolf looks flawless.

I strip and shift into Nyx. She can mind link anyone even if they aren’t part of the pack.

‘Okay ladies, before you freak out, we are mind linking. You can speak to me even in this form.’ Nyx told them. ‘Once you accept Aiden and Thalia as your pack leaders, you will be part of the pack and will be able to mind link anyone in the pack.’

Izo and Mali look at each other and then at Nyx.

‘Okay. Got it.’ Izo said.

‘Yeah, let’s do this run and then become official.’

Nyx looks over to Aiden and he smiles at her before petting her fur. “Hello beautiful.”

“Are you going to shift and let me spend time with Leon, handsome?”

We all started running and we were ducking benen trees and over falling logs. Izo and Mali take a playful stance and start nipping at each other and yipping happily. I’m glad that they are adjusting so quickly. I guess that is the best outcome for them both

Once they accept us, I know they are going to leave for a while and tie up loose home. I don’t know when they will be back so I want to enjoy time with them for never thought I would see them again after I escaped Diego and that terrible marriage Now they are a constant staple in my life. I’ve never really had friends, and these two have become friends, not just colleagues.

After our run, we got back to where we left the clothes. We all got dressed and then we had Kaia and Sinclair accept us. Once they did, they felt the pack link Aiden sent out a message to the entire pack stating that Kaia and Sinclair have successfully completed the transition, shifted, had their first run and are now officially part of Blackstone.

The overwhelming reception of love and acceptance came through the pack link and I saw how affected Kaia and Sinclair were at the welcome from all of the pack. Tears were forming in Sinclair’s eyes.

“Are those happy tears?” I asked her.

“Oh yes! I feel their acceptance. That’s all I’ve ever wanted in my life. To be accepted and feel like I am part of a family. Any family.” She said.
