His plump mate (Rebel and Austin) by Buchanan novel Chapter 397

Aiden POV

Alpha Heath is seriously getting on my fucking nerves with all the whining. I said Raul is coming with the records. He won’t be able to dispute it then. He is hung up on Tina, though. Why? Beats the hell out of me. She was always thirsty when she was after me and now, she has sunken her teeth into a willful idiot with an Alpha title.

“How much longer do we need to wait?” Heath said.

I growl low, “Dr. Moreno will be here in a moment. I suggest you exercise some patience before I sit your ass down for you.”

Edgar sighs, “Alpha Aiden, I know you are an upright Alpha, but let’s not let our tempers get the best of us.”

“Tell that to the little prick standing behind you.” I scoffed.

As Heath is about to argue, I hear from behind, “Sorry for the delay. I had to access our new security system. It took me a moment to remember the steps. My name is Dr. Moreno. I understand we are in need of some medical records?”

Councilman Charles is the first to speak, “Thank you, Dr. Moreno. Yes, we are here to investigate the death of Rose Clark, mother of Tina Clark, Luna of Golden Frost. We also understand there was another death around the same time of a man who was tortured most viciously.”

Raul smiles, “I understand. Congratulations to Luna Tina. Her mother is deceased. It was a quick and swift death blow. Death was instant. She attempted to drug her Alpha with an aphrodisiac. Here are the reports. She instructed a kitchen staff member to put the aphrodisiac in the Alpha’s tea. Here is the signed testimony from the kitchen staff. I had to investigate the source of the drug and keep a trail. Additionally, from my understanding Rose Clark admitted to the crime.”

I smiled, “She did admit to it, in front of Tina and her mate Darrell. Darrell rejected her shortly before leaving to Golden Frost.”

“Why did you drug her before killing her?” Councilman Edgar asked.

“Because I believe in people learning their lesson. Rose Clark had the opportunity to leave this pack alive. She never once showed remorse and even said that she would do it all over again if it meant her daughter got to become a Luna. See how she was a threat not only to me but to others in the name of ambition, I eliminated her.” I said.

“Can anyone corroborate your story?”

“I can.” Isaiah said stepping forward. “I am the beta of this pack. I was present when Alpha Aiden tried to give Rose Clark an out to leave Blackstone, but as Alpha Aiden stated, she showed no remorse.”

“And the man you killed?”

Raul spoke up, “His name was Diego Moreno. He was my brother and he deserved the treatment and death he received.”

“Oh, we will have sons. I’m not worried about that, councilman.” I said with a smirk.

“ENOUGH!” Heath screamed out. “As much as I want to talk about your sex life, and I don’t, I am still waiting for justice for my Luna. Will the councilmen deliver it or not?”

I growl again, but Edgar and Charles both look at Heath. “Alpha Heath, I’m afraid the claims from Luna Tina were unfounded. Alpha Aiden was within his rights. He also attempted only to teach Rose Clark a lesson, but she did not learn from it and was executed accordingly. The issue of Diego Moreno is not relevant to your situation and therefore holds no baring to Tina Clark.” Charles said.

Finally, vindicated. “Thank you, councilmen. This could have been resolved with a phone call or meeting at the council office. I feel lucky to have gotten here when I did, otherwise a battle would have taken place unjustifiably so.”

“We shall leave now Alpha Aiden. We are sorry to have come all the way here to disturb you.” Edgar said.

“Not a problem. I would like to talk to you another time, councilman Edgar. It’s about my mate and her special wolf.” I smiled.

As we are speaking, Heath growls and leaps for me. “ATTACK THIS FUCKING PACK, NOW!”
