Aiden, Isaiah, and I are talking about Candy. We are trying to figure out how Candy got onto the premises undetected.

“Didn’t Ronan come in undetected? We know that he came in with the rogues.”

“Yeah, but his scent could have gotten lost in the rogue’s scent,” I replied.

“Thalia mentioned that she could have been recruited as a hitman,” Aiden said.

“Yeah, but I doubt that human hitman know how to or if they even can hide their scents,” I countered.

All three of us were stumped trying to figure it out, but we were coming up with nothing. Isaiah then switched gears.

“How are things going between Sinclair and you?”

“We are figuring it out. I messed things up pretty badly when I first realized she was my mate. She thought I didn’t want her because I left. Really, I was in shock. I was still grieving.”

“You walked out on Sinclair?” Isaiah asked, stunned. “No wonder Kaia was ready to tear you apart. She wouldn’t tell me anything, but she was seriously ready to rip you a new one.”

“So was Thalia,” Aiden chimed in. “I’m glad you two are mated and marked now, though.”

Isaiah laughed. “I heard Thor and Mali took over for you two.”

I rolled my eyes. I’m not going to live that down. “Yeah, Thor said Sinclair for ask for what she wants.”

Aiden and Isaiah only grinned. “What?” I asked.

“The fun part is getting her to ask,” Aiden said.

Isaiah laughed. “Damn right it is. Our women are fierce outside the bedroom and shy in it. I won’t give you the particulars between Kaia and me, bro, but I will tell you, she isn’t shy about it anymore. I had to get her to trust me.”

Aiden laughed. “You might have a harder time with Sinclair because of your monumental fuck up in the beginning. I really can’t wait to see you struggle with her.”

Isaiah’s phone pinged. Then Aiden’s phone buzzed. They both looked at their phones, their smiles wide and their eyes darkened. They both typed back quickly and then looked at each other.

“What is it?” I asked.

“Our mates are at Victoria's Secret,” Aiden said. “Hasn’t Sinclair texted you?”
