Sinclair POV
“Reid is going to join us in this war, right? I don’t hear a lot about his position,” I said to Adrian as we made our way to Ironclaw.
After we spoke to Aiden and Thalia, they were, of course, angry. They were also amazed to see my gift in action. Thalia looked at me with pride. Like a big sister cheering on a younger sister. It made me feel warm inside. Afterward, we told them of our plans to go to Ironclaw.
“He will be there. He isn’t one to back down from a fight. The distance tends to keep him out of the loop, but that’s not his fault. I think a part of him would like to relocate Blue Moon closer to the south.”
“Maybe he can take up the land in between Blackstone and Ironclaw. It’s a huge territory, and we have to travel thirty to forty-five minutes to cross over to Ironclaw.”
Adrian looked at me with a smirk. “Are you playing real estate agent now?”
“No. But honestly, you don’t think that’s a good idea?”
“It’s an excellent idea. It’s not just his decision, though. It would have to go through the elders and then the northern council. Once that’s done, it has to go through the the central council for approval. It’s a lot of politics, little sin.”
“Oh,” I said quietly. I still think it would be a good idea.
“Well, before that happens, what if we set up the war to happen there? It’s plenty big, and it keeps pack members out of the way.”
“Again, another great idea. We need Aiden and Isaiah to weigh in on the matter. I don’t think they will disagree, though.”
We make it to Ironclaw, and the guards congratulate us when they see our mate marks, then let us through. Once we get to the pack house, Isaiah, Kaia, Aric, and a very pregnant Poppy are standing there.
“She’s carrying one, Adrian. I’m going to be twice that size,” I said worriedly.
Adrian, however, smiles widely. “I know. I can’t wait.”
I chuckled at his reaction and shook my head. When we get out of the car, we hug and greet everyone. Aric pulls me in for the best big brother hug ever.
“Don’t you ever run off like that again, sis. I was going out of my mind with worry,” Aric said.
Isaiah then spoke, “We all were. You are too important a piece of this family, Auntie Sin.”
I blushed, and Adrian put his arms around me from behind. “She isn’t going anywhere. She knows I will track her down if she does that again.”
We all laugh and then walk inside. I’m not surprised to see the grounds being tended to outside and the inside being renovated. It no longer looks like a frat house, but a proper pack house now.
I see Rodrigo and Sheri coming, and she appears pregnant too.
“Roddy! Sheri!” I said happily, hugging them.
“Hey Sinclair!” Sheri smiled brightly. “Glad to see you are back.”
Gosh? Did everyone know I left?
“Yeah, the rogue life isn’t for you, Sinclair,” Roddy said.
I laughed. “It’s no longer for you either, Roddy. Congratulations, you two, I said, pointing at Sheri’s small bump.
They both smiled, and then I asked Roddy. “What about the ports?”
“I’m still controlling them from here. If you have time, I wouldn’t mind you reviewing my setup.”
