Sinclair POV

My body is being so damn traitorous today. So is Mali. Both want me to take a day off completely and stay locked away with Adrian. Seriously, I love being in bed with him just as much, but I want to make sure we keep having days like those in the future. I need to make sure everything is running properly.

We made it to the first passageway. It’s always existed, but it wasn’t in use. Dad told me about it and said there were some stability issues. I took the time to reinforce the stability and got it to where it should be. I want to upgrade it later, but for now, the low-tech is better.

“You knew about this place?” Adrian asked.

“You didn’t?” I countered.

“No. How did you find out about this place?”

“Dad told me. I came across some old blueprints of the territory and asked him about it. He told me they were closed down due to stability issues. I’ve reinforced a lot of it on my own, but I have plans for this since it connects to Blackclaw.”

“Why didn’t Dad tell his sons?”

“He honestly forgot their existence. He came here with me a couple of times to work on the passageways. That’s why I was able to get away from you that day. I came through here and then exited through one of the sides near the pack house. From there I went to the dining hall where you found me.”

Adrian was looking at me in awe. “You are incredible. Do you know that?”

“I’m just glad you finally figured it out, babe,” I said, teasing him.

He grabbed me and pushed me against the wall. “You know, we are alone here. No one would know to check for us here.”

“Are you trying to seduce me, Mr. Willis?” I asked flirtatiously.

“I don’t mind getting hot and heavy in here with you, Little Sin.”

I laughed. “Well, I do. Down boy! We have work to do. Come on.”

He groaned, and I laughed again. “We have tonight. I may even start without you. Gods knows, my body and wolf are traitorous today.”

Adrian started laughing. “Is that right?”

“Uh-huh. Mali is in my ear, telling me to hurry up.”

“Thank you, Mali. I couldn’t agree more,” Adrian said.

I shook my head. I pulled out a sensor and installed it by the door. It’s a pretty basic one. It will alert my phone and wristwatch if someone enters. After it’s programmed, we start going through the passageway. The entire time, Adrian can’t seem to keep his hands to himself. He is doing this on purpose.

I’m installing the second sensor, and he grabbed me from behind and started kissing and sucking on my neck. I moaned, and he smiled against my neck before reaching for my breasts.

“Adrian,” I moaned.

“Mmm.”

“The faster I can get this done, the faster we can go back and continue this,” I said, breathing heavier and another moan slipping out.

Adrian inhaled, and I knew he could smell my arousal. Before he did anything, I pulled away.

“Adrian, please, let’s finish the job here and go back, okay?”

He took a deep breath but smiled. “You’re right. I don’t know what’s coming over me, but I have a serious urge to take you now, Sinclair.”

“Do you want to go back?” I asked.
