How to Train Your Ex-Billionaire novel Chapter 251

To handle the lawsuit against her family, Yvan put Winifred in touch with Robert, one of his company's top lawyers.

Robert was a nationally renowned attorney specializing in financial disputes, accustomed to handling complex cases. The conflict with Winifred's uncle and grandmother was a piece of cake for him.

Robert contacted Winifred and asked her to send over all the relevant documents.

Shortly after, he had everything organized and formally filed a lawsuit against Fiona and Darren.

As expected, it wasn't long before Winifred received a call from Fiona.

On the phone, she launched into a tirade. "Winifred, how dare you sue your own grandmother and uncle? Have you no conscience? You’re really cold-hearted? I'm telling you, Winifred, drop this lawsuit right now, or I'll tell the whole world you're trying to drive your own grandmother to her grave."

Fiona's voice was so sharp and piercing that Winifred had to pull the phone away from her ear.

Yvan, who was sitting beside her, overheard and took the phone. "Mrs. Young," he said into the receiver, "feel free to keep shouting. This call is being recorded. Every word you're saying could be presented in court. Don't be surprised when we add charges of making threats and slander to the lawsuit."

Stunned by the sudden male voice, Fiona stammered, "Who—who is this?"

"I'm Winifred's boyfriend, Yvan Brown," he replied. "And just so you know, I've already hired a top-tier legal team to handle this. Prepare to lose."

With that, he hung up and blocked Fiona's number.

"Don't answer their calls anymore," Yvan said. "There's no point in reasoning with shameless people like them."

Winifred looked at him. "Thank you."

She had barely done anything, just provided some evidence and documents. Yvan's lawyer was handling everything else.

Seeing her so serious, Yvan wrapped his arm around her waist. "Between us, a simple 'thank you' isn't enough. You need to show me your gratitude in a more... tangible way."

Yvan tossed her onto the bed and lowered himself over her...

...

Winifred was starting to regret moving in with him.

He had always seemed so cool and distant, but now he was like a different person. They'd agreed on three times a week, but he always found an excuse to break the rule.

Then again, even when they were just dating, Winifred knew Yvan had a strong libido; it was always on his mind whenever he came over.

Back then, they hadn't crossed that line.

Now that he'd had a taste, he was even more insatiable.
