"Alright, I'll head out now."
With that, Harrison turned and exited the office.
The young man he had brought in immediately stepped forward to introduce himself. "Hello, Ms. Lennox. I'm Quincy Sawyer. Just call me Quinn."
Lyra nodded, a flicker of curiosity crossing her mind.
He looked like a fresh-faced college grad, so why did her father trust him so implicitly?
Clearly, his resume must be infinitely more impressive than his innocent smile let on.
"Great to meet you, Quinn. No need to be overly formal with me. We're going to be working together for a long time, so we might as well start building our synergy now."
Quinn nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely, Ms. Lennox. Is there anything I can help you with right now?"
Noticing she was still unpacking a few personal items, he took a proactive step toward her desk.
"No, I'm pretty much done. But if you don't mind, could you run down to logistics and grab a tea set?"
At Lennox Group, executive offices were always fully stocked with high-end amenities.
But glancing around, she figured the previous director had likely returned the set to logistics upon resigning.
"Right away! Whatever you need, just say the word."
Quinn beamed, his smile looking completely earnest and unfiltered.
Once he left, Lyra did a quick sweep of the office to ensure she wasn't missing anything else.
When he returned, it would be time for the board meeting.
The moment Lyra walked into the grand conference room, she could feel every single pair of eyes lock onto her.
Meeting their gazes with cool composure, she pulled out the chair designated for the Design Director and sat down.
Harrison entered the room a moment later.
