Hearing Harrison's voice from inside, Lyra pushed the door open and walked in.
Seeing it was her, Harrison immediately set down his work with a warm smile. "Lyra, is something the matter?"
Usually, any work-related matters were relayed through Quincy.
Furthermore, Lyra had just recently joined the company; she was still familiarizing herself with many of the operations and learning the ropes as she went.
By now, she had essentially grasped the majority of the company's business.
Lyra walked over with a smile, taking a seat across from him. "I just wanted to ask, if I intend to enter the company into the upcoming design competition, who do you think would be up to the task?"
Hearing the question, Harrison thought seriously for a moment before answering with a question of his own. "What about you? Do you have any suitable candidates in mind?"
"I haven't been here long enough to intimately know everyone's capabilities. For a competition like this, I don't think an overwhelmingly aggressive style is the most important factor. The candidate needs to have a steady hand. Personality-wise, there's a guy in the department who isn't bad, but he's almost too conservative. Taking everything into consideration, Courtney is a strong option, though she can be a bit erratic."
Lyra was deep in thought, completely missing the sheer delight in Harrison's eyes as he watched her speak.
"For this, I think you should have a chat with the design director. He interacts with them daily and knows them best."
"Does that mean you're approving the idea?"
Harrison offered a helpless smile. "This can only benefit the company. What reason would I have to refuse?"
"Great, then I'll take it from here."
Seeing the fierce determination in her eyes, Harrison nodded. "Go ahead. Go carve out your own empire."
