Hearing this, Lyra stopped in her tracks.

As Lyra opened the door and stepped into the hallway, she spotted Aria's manager standing just a few feet away, clutching his phone.

He had obviously just finished a call.

Seeing Lyra about to leave, Jasper quickly stepped in front to block her path.

"What did you and Aria talk about?"

Amused by his arrogance, Lyra raised a brow and replied coolly, "Does that have anything to do with you?"

Jasper clearly hadn't expected Lyra to dismiss him so blatantly, and his face darkened.

"I've already informed Mr. Sterling, and he is on his way. I don't care what you two discussed. She is an artist signed to the company, meaning everything about her falls under the company's jurisdiction. I have every right to interfere."

Lyra let out a soft "Oh" and said, "Fine, no problem. Go ask her yourself."

With that, she simply turned and walked away.

Watching her leave, Jasper hesitated for a second but ultimately decided not to follow her.

Lyra headed downstairs, but the moment she walked out of the lobby doors, she spotted Maxwell rushing toward the hospital.

She immediately ducked behind a nearby pillar. Maxwell was moving so fast he didn't even notice her.

Only after he had stepped into the elevator did Lyra slip out from behind the pillar.
