Chapter 250
The words fell and Michelle froze in place.
In the past, Sherry had always ignored such unpleasant remarks, choosing to turn a blind eye, but now, to her surprise, Michelle had become even more audacious.
“With such a foul mouth, I thought the restroom had moved here,” Sherry sneered, waving her hand in front of her nose, as if trying to chase away the foul air surrounding them.
“Sherry, you uneducated thing, saying such things in a restaurant–do you want to die?” Michelle’s voice grew sharp, quickly drawing the attention of those around.
Sherry hadn’t wanted to stir trouble, expecting Michelle to back down, but instead, Michelle seemed determined to escalate the situation.
She directly circled around to Sherry’s front, sizing them both up with a twisted expression that made her already bitter face even uglier.
“Do you know who I am? Let me tell you, you can’t afford to offend me! Be careful, or I’ll tell my brother, and then your software won’t sell a single unit! Let’s see how arrogant you’ll be then!” Michelle crossed her arms, exuding an air of someone who controlled the situation.
Sophie exchanged a glance with Sherry, her expression solemn. It seemed Michelle wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
Sherry shrugged indifferently. “Definitely as dumb as a pig.”
“You two are exchanging looks. From the looks of it, your friend here doesn’t seem too impressive either. And this jewelry, I bet it’s fake. But with your looks, maybe you can get by. If you’re lacking money, I can introduce you to some rich men. Just a few nights and you’ll be swimming in cash,” Michelle said arrogantly, her lips curling into a mocking smile.
Sherry’s expression immediately darkened, her eyes shooting venom at Michelle.
You can insult me, but not her.
“Michelle, what’s your problem? If you need it, I can help you call the psych ward’s emergency services,” Sherry’s voice dropped dangerously.
“Why didn’t you react so strongly earlier when I insulted you?” Michelle smirked, as if she’d discovered something, and turned her challenging gaze toward Sophie, who remained calm and collected.
Michelle slowly approached, her lips twisting into a sly smile. Her gaze then moved downward, landing on Sophie’s slightly swollen belly.
Sophie instinctively placed a hand over her stomach.
Michelle raised an eyebrow. “Looks like you’ve been taken care of by someone, and now you’re carrying a little bastard. You’ve got more tricks than the Instant Noodle Girl.”
“Why keep that mouth open if it’s useless? I can get a piercing specialist to come over and give you a lip ring–top and bottom lips, pierced together,” Sherry snapped, shoving Michelle away.
Michelle stumbled, catching herself on the table and glaring at Sherry with a venomous look. She grabbed a glass of red wine and, in one swift motion, flung it at Sophie.
The wine splashed across Sophie’s face, the smell of alcohol filling the air. Sophie’s brows furrowed in irritation.
Before Sophie could retaliate, the sound of a loud slap echoed through the restaurant.
Michelle staggered and fell to the ground, screaming in pain as she clutched her swollen face.
Sherry wasn’t someone to let things slide easily. Without hesitation, she grabbed the wine bottle and poured the remaining contents over Michelle’s body.

The wine streamed down Michelle’s head, soaking her already revealing outfit, and she scrambled to cover her chest. But Sherry‘ i grip was too stron
and Michelle couldn’t rise.
“Let go of me, you bitch!” Michelle struggled,
Finally, after the last drop of wine had fallen, Sherry set the bottle down and kicked Michelle’s shoulder, sending her tumbling back to the floor, humiliating herself further.
Sherry crouched down leisurely, lifting Michelle’s chin with a mocking grin. She stared at Michelle’s flushed face, her anger and embarrassment written all over her cheeks. Sherry smirked, “You can’t handle the same treatment, can you?”
“You used to bully your classmates with your family’s wealth and influence. Didn’t you ever think that one day, you’d end up like this?” Sherry’s eyes darkened with resolve as she forcefully shoved Michelle’s face aside.
Sophie calmly wiped the wine off her face and was about to make a call when hurried footsteps echoed nearby. The bodyguards from the Morgan family appeared, quickly ushering Michelle away.
“Madam, we failed to ensure your safety. We apologize,”
Meanwhile, Michelle, still in shock, growled, “Who are you?!”
of security said, bowing deeply in front of Sophie.
The head of security glanced at her coldly, his eyes flashing with lethal intent. “We are from the Morgan family. You can’t afford to offend us. Take her to the police station.”
The Morgan family… the same Morgan family that dominated Riverland!
This can’t be, how could these two poor women possibly have anything to do with the Morgan family?
Michelle’s eyes widened in disbelief as she processed the situation. “He just called her… Madam?”
Sophie remained calm, her face expressionless but exuding an air of elegance that kept others at a distance.
Her cold, piercing gaze swept over Michelle, and in that instant, Michelle lost all composure. “You’re lying! There’s no way Mr. Morgan would want you, the mistress of some big shot! Let me go! I’ll report you for illegal detention!”
“Sherry, you illegitimate girl, just wait. I’ll make sure we’re enemies for lif

The restaurant echoed with her pitiful cries.
Sophie, however, furrowed her brows, glancing at her bodyguards. “Why did you appear so
suddenly?”
The head of security bowed. “Mr. Morgan ordered us to ensure your safety at all times.”
Was it for her safety, or were they simply keeping an eye on her? Sophie lowered her gaze, concealing the wariness in her
eyes.
Before she could recover from the situation, Sherry stepped forward. “It’s alright, Sophie. The trouble’s gone now, we can have a peaceful moment.”
“Your clothes are dirty. Let’s go get you some new ones,” she added, taking Sophie’s hand.
The bodyguards wanted to follow them, but Sherry, sensing Sophie’s discomfort, turned and firmly instructed them, “Stop. We’re just going shopping. You don’t need to follow us. Stay here.”
The two of them walked out of the restaurant.
At the mall, they picked out some clothes, and as Sherry was about to pull out her card, Sophie stopped her.
She handed over a black card, her lips curling into a playful smile. “Use mine.”
