She had wrapped up the bulk of her projects by Friday. Today, all she needed to do was clear out her desk and occasionally offer a quick glance at the team's new design drafts. She had plenty of time to spare.

As she packed her things, Rowena leaned against the edge of her desk.

Watching her, she sighed, "Sienna, I'm really going to miss you."

Back when her former colleague had praised Sienna, Rowena had assumed it was an exaggeration.

It wasn't until they worked together that she realized just how true it was. Sienna was capable, polite, and knew how to stand her ground without being a pushover. Who wouldn't like her?

Rowena leaned in slightly, lowering her voice. "Sienna, did you resign... because of Mr. Vaughn?"

Sienna blinked, taken aback. "Of course not."

She had no intention of sharing her private career plans.

To Rowena, however, this evasiveness only confirmed her suspicions. "Sienna, I know you and Mr. Vaughn don't see eye to eye. Why don't you transfer and become my assistant? The title isn't as prestigious as Vice Director, but I can talk to him and try to keep your salary the same."

Sienna furrowed her brow. "Do... do we really look like we hate each other?"
