"I can do it. Don't... don't call him..."
"You know how to do this too? Let me guess, you learned it on your phone?" Sienna watched in pure shock as Jorrod offered a tiny, pathetic nod.
It was late, and if Jorrod claimed he 'learned it,' he definitely hadn't just watched some random tutorial.
Convinced he knew what he was doing, Sienna collapsed back onto the sofa and squeezed her eyes shut. "Fine, then you do it for me."
"I haven't tried it before... but when you sober up... please don't leave again."
Treating it as a desperate last resort, Sienna wasn't entirely unreasonable. She kept her eyes closed. "I won't. Thank..." you.
The word 'Thank'.
It acted as the final, absolute command.
"Mmph..."
A familiar yet entirely intoxicating scent rushed her senses as Sienna's lips were forcefully captured.
Her eyes flew open in shock, though her vision remained hopelessly blurred.
She knew she should push him away.
But his kiss was completely debilitating, and her alcohol-drenched muscles were practically useless. Her trembling hands, meant to shove at his thick, solid chest, ended up resting there instead, feeling infinitely more like a half-hearted surrender than a rejection.
Last time, his skin had carried a chilling cold.
This time, he was burning so hot he was going to incinerate her.
Mingling with the alcohol surging through her veins, the man completely bypassed any preamble and attacked with a devastating directness she had zero defense against, fully intending to set her completely ablaze.
It was ridiculous and utterly insane, yet somehow, perfectly exactly what she needed.
It completely smothered the throbbing pain in her head. Compared to a hangover remedy, this was infinitely more addictive and euphoric.
The hands that had meant to push him away slowly slid up his chest, becoming the perfect conduit for sharing their body heat.
Her wide, shocked eyes slowly fluttered shut, amplifying every single sensation this moment was giving her.
Jorrod's kiss was violently possessive.
It was practically an invasion, yet strangely laced with a desperate, white-knuckled restraint.
But after she let out a soft, muffled whimper, the leashes on that dark undercurrent instantly snapped.
His large hand plunged into her long hair, wrapping around the back of her neck to tilt her head, forcing her to mold even deeper against him.
The living room, which had been loud with arguing just moments ago, descended into sudden, heavy silence, leaving nothing but the sound of their increasingly ragged breathing.
And the faint, frantic rustle of fabric grinding against the leather sofa.
Occasionally, a soft, breathless moan would escape.
Only to be instantly swallowed by even heavier, desperate pants.
