Garrett Stone slowly pulled his gaze away from the door Zoe had just walked through.

He lowered his chin slightly, cutting off Sienna's sales pitch.

"Ms. Winters, regarding the AI security architecture, I don't believe there's any need to continue this discussion."

Sienna stared at him in utter shock.

"Why? I firmly believe Easton Group is the absolute best partner you could find. You have the federal connections, and we have the most advanced hardware on the market. A collaboration would be incredibly lucrative for both of us."

Garrett offered a polite, distant smile.

"It's not that I doubt your company's capabilities. It's just..."

He had been searching for Zoe for years.

He never imagined she'd been hiding in plain sight at Easton Group this whole time.
