"Zoe, you better remember your place. Stop using the company's name to scam people out here. The company is pushing for AI technology right now, and you don't know the first thing about it, so stop interfering.

Professor Layne is an expert in this field. If you want to keep your job, you need to leave right now. Don't make me bring Mr. Thorne into this, it will just end badly for everyone."

She phrased it as though she was doing Zoe a favor by letting her save face.

Hearing her aggressive tone, the professor's expression darkened completely.
