Everyone was handed their room keys. Sienna and Hayden were placed in the presidential suite, while the rest of the staff were given their own private rooms.

The only room left was a suite intended for Garrett, but according to the hotel registry, he was supposed to be sharing it with Zoe.

Zoe felt incredibly awkward.

Garrett was just as confused and demanded an explanation.

The hotel manager awkwardly clarified that it was a booking error—they had assumed Garrett and Zoe were a couple.

Mistake or not, the hotel was completely booked solid.

The manager apologized profusely, explaining that the suite had two separate beds—one in the bedroom and a pull-out in the living area.

The summit had drawn a massive crowd, and everyone had locked in their reservations weeks in advance. Swapping rooms was virtually impossible, and there were zero vacancies.

"Director Lynd, you can take the suite. I'll see if I can crash with one of the guys."

Garrett offered the solution, but the rest of his subordinates seemed to have formed a silent pact, deliberately ignoring him.

They were all convinced the CEO had orchestrated this on purpose.

It was painfully obvious to everyone that Mr. Stone had feelings for Director Lynd. At a critical moment like this, sharing a suite could be exactly what they needed to push their relationship forward.

Nobody was stupid enough to play third wheel and ruin the boss's romance. If Mr. Stone failed to get the girl because of them, they might find themselves out of a very high-paying job.

So, everyone acted totally oblivious.

One guy laughed and joked, "Come on, Mr. Stone, we're all grown men. Bunking together would be way too weird."

Another chimed in, "Yeah, I snore like a chainsaw. I wouldn't want to keep you up all night. Let's just stick to the plan."

One by one, they all conveniently refused.

Garrett looked helpless, while the Easton Group team watched curiously, wondering why the Sterling guys were suddenly so lively.

Sienna and Hayden walked over to check in.

When the receptionist handed them a single keycard, Hayden took it without a word of objection.

Sienna did the same. Their silent routine made them look exactly like an old married couple.

Garrett was deeply uncomfortable. He really hadn't planned this, and he prayed Zoe didn't think he was trying to pull a fast one.

Zoe just smiled. "It's fine. It's a suite, right? We can just share it."
