Garrett drove over personally to pick them up. Zoe didn't even take the Rolls-Royce Cullinan that Grandmother Thorne had gifted her; she left it all behind at Blackwood Manor. From this moment on, her ties to Hayden were permanently severed.

Suddenly, the doors of an adjacent private suite flew open, and Holden dashed out with two other boys. Zoe instantly lunged to push the waiter out of the way. The pot of scalding soup crashed to the floor, splashing a few drops onto Holden's arm. He instantly began wailing at the top of his lungs.
