Noticing Hayden's darkening expression, Ian quickly changed the subject. "Why didn't Asher show up today? And Zoe's best friend, Nadia, is nowhere to be seen either. It's a bit strange."

"I have no idea. I heard Nadia took on a tricky case, so he's tied up with that. Besides, Asher never liked crowds anyway, so it's normal," Sienna Winters replied, completely dismissing Ethan Montgomery's earlier points.

"You're talking about Sterling Group's Empathy AI Pro project. I don't see anything remarkable about it. Hayden and I are developing a companion robot too. If you're interested, come by Easton Group and we can chat," she offered.

Her words silenced Ethan. It wasn't that he didn't believe in Hayden and Sienna. It was just that he had been at the bidding conference—Easton only had theoretical data, whereas Sterling Group already had a working physical prototype. Plus, domestic companion robots were mainly targeted at the elderly, while The Empathy AI Pro had universal appeal across all demographics. As a businessman with sharp instincts, anyone would make Sterling Group their top choice.

Ian didn't quite follow. "What project?"

Ethan had no intention of going into details, afraid Ian might try to steal a piece of the pie, so he vaguely brushed the question off.

When Sienna didn't get a response from Ethan, she merely pursed her lips, smart enough to drop the topic.

On the stage, Arthur Kendall Sr. was beaming, introducing and showing off Zoe and her daughter as if they were his most prized treasures.

Sienna took a sip of her wine, keeping her voice low to feign casualness. "Do you think Zoe actually succeeded in seducing Garrett? Hayden, you two are still legally married. If they aren't just playing 'godbrother and sister' but covering up an ulterior motive, are you really going to keep this marriage going?"

She couldn't understand it. She had already made it clear to Hayden that Holden didn't actually need Lily's blood anymore. Why hadn't Hayden brought up the divorce yet? What was he waiting for?
