"Garrett, I'll still organize these files. This concerns Sterling and the project. Whether Hayden pays attention or not is his problem.

It never hurts to be fully prepared. If he refuses to make the revisions, we'll just have to do it ourselves."

Zoe didn't waste a single ounce of emotional energy on Sienna or Hayden.

She didn't even care that he was going to pick up Holden.

Garrett nodded, tapping the watch on his wrist as a reminder. "Shouldn't we be heading out to pick up Lily too?"

Zoe finally realized she had been so engrossed in her work that she had almost forgotten.

"The Summer Solstice Festival is coming up, and the city will be hosting the Annual Charity Regatta. Let's put work aside for a bit. I'll take you both to watch the races."
