His final warning stung, making Sienna's eyes well up with hot tears.

The line went dead, leaving Sienna alone with the dial tone and a bitter sense of resentment.

The Kendalls were Zoe's safety net. By warning her away from the Kendall family, Hayden was indirectly telling her that Zoe was untouchable.
