"Mr. Kendall," Sienna interjected, panic edging her voice. In her desperation, she turned to Hayden to fix it.

Zoe followed Garrett out the door without a backward glance.

Hayden let out a dark, mocking scoff. He played with the unlit cigarette in his hand for a moment before violently crushing it into powder between his fingers.

"Is this how you built Sterling Group into an empire, Mr. Kendall? Do you treat billion-dollar contracts like a children's game?"

Hayden's voice was frigid, carrying a terrifying authority.

"Sterling Group doesn't get to unilaterally terminate a contract just because you feel like it. You brought your lawyer. Ask him what happens when I drag you to court."

Marcus Zimmerman paused mid-step, a flicker of genuine shock crossing his face.

No one—absolutely no one—spoke to Garrett Kendall like that, let alone threatened him with legal action.

"If you want to sue me, Mr. Thorne, I welcome the challenge. This partnership is over. If you have any further complaints, direct them to my attorneys."

Garrett's ruthless tone softened instantly the second he looked down at Zoe.

"What do you want to do?" he asked her quietly.

He knew Hayden was her ex-husband. If Zoe had any objections, he was willing to reverse his decision on the spot.

"I trust your judgment as CEO. You made the right call," Zoe replied evenly.

The two of them walked out, never looking back.

Sienna sat frozen in disbelief.
