Seeing Hayden finally speak up, Sienna felt a rush of sweetness.

He was definitely just taking Grandmother Beatrice's feelings into account, trying hard to maintain the illusion that he was still with Zoe. She shouldn't let her emotions get the better of her. After all, the divorce was finalized.

Suddenly, Asher dropped a bomb in the group chat.

"Drinking to celebrate your divorce?"

The seemingly dead chat exploded in an instant.

Messages tagging Hayden flooded the screen.

"Are you serious? You got divorced? When did this happen, and why are we just hearing about it?"

Ian was the most shocked, while Quentin chimed in: "She actually agreed? That's rare."

From start to finish, Hayden completely ignored their interrogation.

Sienna watched silently, her hands trembling slightly with sheer joy.

Hayden's refusal to answer meant it was absolutely true.

Divorce wasn't exactly a glorious event, and given his cold personality, it was perfectly normal for him not to explain himself.

Sienna waited until their heated discussion died down. The address for the gathering was sent, and since Hayden didn't say anything else, she kept quiet too.

Hayden hadn't bothered to clarify that the divorce with Zoe was technically invalid. His privacy was his own, and he owed no one an explanation.

A month had passed since they received the divorce certificate, and Hayden had moved out of Blackwood Manor to The Ridgecrest Villa.

Sienna's fantasy of him moving into Blackwood Manor to live as a family with her and Holden hadn't come to fruition.

He treated her exactly the same as before. Aside from seeing each other at the office, their private meetings followed their usual rigid schedule.

He picked Holden up from classes, giving the boy the fatherly security he craved, and spent time with them like clockwork.

Dinners, trips to the amusement park—nothing had changed.

Sienna was suffocating with frustration. They had the divorce certificate. They were both single now. What exactly was he still worried about?

The only logical answer was Grandmother Beatrice.

Just that one sentence. Nothing more.

Hayden was incredibly busy. Zoe's tricks were endless, and he only played along when he had the time. The vast majority of his energy was poured into Easton Group and his own projects.

Sienna was exceptional at handling crises at Easton, which allowed him to take a step back from the daily operations.

Zoe had packed her bags, preparing to go abroad to await the birth of her child.

It was Garrett's arrangement, and she had agreed to it.

Hayden's occasional harassment wasn't frequent, but staying in New York was a constant underlying threat.

Sylvia Kendall held her hand reluctantly. "You really don't have to go so far away."

Zoe smiled gently. "A five-hour flight isn't far at all."

Given Sylvia's status, she couldn't easily leave the country without sparking rumors, so she instructed Garrett to accompany Zoe and take good care of her.

"Once the baby is born, we'll register it under the Kendall family. If necessary, after Command HQ does their home visit, you can finalize the divorce with Hayden and legally marry Garrett. That way, Lily and the new baby can be completely severed from the Thorne family, safe and sound."
