Hayden scoffed at her words. "You're my wife."

Zoe crossed her arms, looking at him with an amused smirk. "I am not your wife, Mr. Thorne. Save it. Say what you have to say. I don't want anyone misunderstanding this."

Hayden took a step toward her. Zoe's lips curved into a wicked smile before she flawlessly splashed her glass of red wine right into his face.

Caught completely off guard, Hayden's face and suit were instantly drenched in crimson stains.

Zoe suddenly raised her voice, flagging down a passing waiter. "Excuse me, please take Mr. Thorne to get cleaned up. He spilled wine on his suit."

The waiter rushed over immediately. Hayden was already a commanding presence, and Zoe's dramatic move drew the eyes of numerous guests.
