"The blood type is extremely rare, but heavy rewards produce brave men. Mr. Thorne spends tens of millions a year keeping these donors on standby. Rest assured, your son will always have as much as he needs."

Instead of feeling relieved, a heavy weight sank into Sienna's chest.

She thanked the doctor with a stiff, polite smile.
