I Forgot I Ever Loved You (Zoe and Hayden) novel Chapter 623

Zoe's emotions gradually leveled out.

Her voice remained flawlessly composed. "That's beside the point. Hayden, who you sleep with has absolutely nothing to do with me anymore. We can't go back. Please don't disrupt our lives again. That means me, Lily, and Ian."

After delivering the final blow, she looked at Garrett and said softly, "Garrett, let's go."

As she walked past Hayden, he violently suppressed his despair. "Grandmother Beatrice..."

He knew he had no right to demand anything from her.

Remembering that Grandmother Beatrice was the only one in the entire Thorne family who had treated her well, Zoe took a breath. "Don't worry. I'll go back to visit her, and I'll bring Ian."

Hayden watched coldly as Zoe and Garrett walked away together. He didn't try to stop them.

By the time Quentin and the others hurried over, Zoe and Garrett were already long gone.

Knowing the truth had left Ethan Montgomery looking like a deflated balloon, utterly drained of energy.

Quentin tried to console him, but his words were meant for Hayden.

"Hayden, you still need to find a way to coax her back."

Hayden replied, "I know."

Ethan looked overwhelmingly guilty. "I had no idea Zoe was actually this brilliant. I always thought..."

He had always thought Sienna was the genius.

He never expected her to be nothing but a parasite hiding behind someone else to suck their blood.

A seasoned veteran of the corporate world like him, who had weathered countless storms in business, never imagined he'd be played by a completely useless woman.

And he had let her lead him by the nose for so long.

Caleb wanted to say something, but ultimately swallowed his words.

Hayden didn't leave with the three of them; he headed straight to Thorne Manor to see Grandmother Beatrice.

"Easton has announced a trading halt overseas and is preparing to delist. The company is also filing for bankruptcy," Hayden stated flatly.

Nita swayed on her feet, her shock instantly transforming into fury.

"What kind of nonsense are you talking about? The company was doing perfectly fine! How could it go bankrupt? That was Charles's company! Wasn't Sienna supposed to be a genius? I heard from the finance department that they were pulling in over sixty billion dollars a day. After taking over the company, she even made it onto the global wealthy list herself!"

"Where else are you going to find a wife like her? When are you finally divorcing Zoe so she can take her little bastards and roll out of the Thorne family?"

"You and Sienna have had feelings for each other for years, and Charles has been gone for a long time. Even in the old days, the three-year mourning period would have passed by now. The media already praises your relationship. It's time to make it official."

Grandmother Beatrice was already furious, but hearing Nita's words made her want to beat her to death with her cane.

"Make it official? Make what official?" Fortunately for Nita, she was too clueless to realize the danger she was in.

"Hayden and Sienna's wedding, of course. Holden is Charles's son. Once Hayden marries Sienna and they have a daughter of their own, it will be perfect. They can have as many kids as they want later. We have a massive family business, and the Thorne family needs more heirs to inherit it."

Grandmother Beatrice let out a cold snort and pointed her cane right at Nita's nose. "Are you deaf? Hayden just told you Easton is bankrupt! Can't you find Sienna because she's already skipped town?"
