The voices of Hayden, Zoe, and Grandmother Eleanor drifted out from the room.

Standing by the door, Hunter didn't even have the courage to peek inside.

The last time he tried to save Zoe in the rain, Hayden had taken him down effortlessly before he could even land a punch.

Hunter stared at the door. It was only a few steps away, yet it felt like an entire century separated him from Zoe.

As long as Hayden was around, he would never have a chance with her...

Zoe chatted with her grandmother for a while, and the old lady was absolutely delighted.

She held Zoe's hand, talking endlessly.

After two hours, Grandmother Eleanor began to look tired.

"When did you make plans with Hunter?"
