Ret ise To Be Your Luna
Chapter 101 The Real Accusations
Alpha Damian’s POV
When Flourish hung up, an unsettling feeling took over me.
She hadn’t accused anyone. She hadn’t even sounded angry.

But after the brief explanation she gave me, I could already imagine the expression she’d been wearing-the one where she looked perfectly composed while her wolf silently sharpened her claws.
My own wolf paced inside me. Someone touched our Luna.
I ignored him and called Pete immediately. The line connected after a single ring.
“Alpha. I just spoke with Lady Flourish.”
Pete instantly understood the seriousness in my tone. “I’m already investigating.”
“I don’t want assumptions.” I leaned back in my chair, my fingers tapping once against the desk. “I want facts.”
“Yes, Alpha.” The call lasted less than a minute. Pete knew better than to waste my time.
Nearly an hour later, my phone rang again.
“Alpha. We found the source.”
I listened quietly while Pete explained everything.
A newly recruited employee from Stormbridge had contacted one of F-Tech’s stakeholders yesterday.
The reason? She had dinner several days ago with Phina Vale.
According to her own confession, Phina repeatedly implied Flourish had obtained the partnership through improper means and that she was deliberately getting close to me despite already having a complicated relationship with Harold.
The employee believed she was protecting Stormbridge’s interests.
Instead…
She had nearly destroyed years of cooperation between two packs.

Chapter 101 The Real Accusations
When Pete finished speaking, my expression had already turned cold. “Dismiss her.”
Pete paused. “Immediately?”
“Immediately.”
“And Alpha…”
“What?”
“…Lady Flourish didn’t ask for punishment.”
“I know.”
My gaze settled on the city outside the window. “But Stormbridge isn’t a place where employees get to weaponize rumors. No matter who encouraged them.”
Pete lowered his voice. “I understand.”

The call ended. For several seconds, I remained where I was. Then I picked up my car keys.
There was another person I intended to question.
The Virel Estate looked exactly as I remembered. Ever since announcing that I had a girlfriend, I hadn’t returned once.
There hadn’t been a reason. Today, there was.
The butler bowed the instant I entered. “Alpha.”
I nodded before walking straight inside. The dining room was unusually lively. Grandfather sat at the head of the table.
Harold and Phina occupied the seats beside him. From the atmosphere alone, I could tell they had been discussing mate bonds and alliances.
Over the past several days, Grandfather had gradually accepted Harold’s decision to choose Phina.
Accepted, didn’t mean pleased.
Turning a Beta’s widow into the future Luna of one of the strongest Alpha bloodlines wasn’t something any traditional family would celebrate.
Grandfather looked toward Harold. “So. When are you two planning to complete your Lunar Rites?”

I noticed Phina glance hopefully toward Harold. Harold, however, frowned almost imperceptibly. “Grandfather. There’s no hurry. Phina is preparing to enter the entertainment industry. Her career should come first.”
Grandfather snorted. To him, actors were nothing more than performers. An Alpha’s Luna belonged beside her mate, not beneath stage lights.
Before he could reply, I stepped fully into the room. Grandfather’s eyes immediately brightened.
“Damian. You’re Phinally home.”
I inclined my head. “Grandpa. I’d like a word with your future granddaughter-in-law.”
The room fell silent. Grandfather looked around instinctively. “Flourish isn’t here.”
I shook my head. “I’m not looking for Flourish.” My eyes settled on Phina. “I’m looking for her.”
The smile disappeared from Grandfather’s face. Phina stiffened almost immediately.
I walked forward slowly. “I came to ask why you instructed your former classmate to spread rumors about Flourish throughout Stonehedge. And why she contacted executives from my company claiming Flourish had questionable character.”
The color drained from Phina’s face. “W-What? I…”
She looked first at Grandfather. Then Harold. As though searching for someone to save her.
Finally, her eyes returned to me. “Alpha Damian… It’s not like that. You misunderstood.”
I smiled a very small smile. “Did I?” I took another step. “Then explain. What exactly did I misunderstand?”
She bit her lower lip so hard it nearly turned white. “I… The other day… My classmate mentioned that Lady Flourish worked at F-Tech. And… She also said F-Tech was collaborating with Stormbridge.”
She swallowed. “Selene was furious because Flourish wanted to force her and Aunt Lydia out of the Garrett residence. So… My classmate acted on impulse. I never told her to call anyone. They misunderstood what I meant.”
She hurriedly shifted the blame away from herself. “They were wrong. I admit that. But…”
She looked at me pleadingly. “Alpha Damian, Flourish started all of this. She forced Selene and Aunt Lydia out of their home. Isn’t it understandable that Selene became emotional?”
Something inside me snapped. My wolf surged forward. The Alpha aura I had been

suppressing rolled through the dining room like a tidal wave.
Fimsted
The crystal glasses trembled. The servants instinctively lowered their heads.
Harold’s shoulders visibly stiffened as my pressure settled squarely upon him.
Only Grandfather remained unaffected. I don’t care who started it.”
My voice echoed quietly through the room. “In Stormbridge… No employee is allowed to play childish games with another company’s reputation. I’ve already dismissed her.”
I looked directly at Phina. “But you. You knew, and you said nothing. You watched someone spread lies.”
I narrowed my eyes. “Smearing Flourish’s name while being a mistress? Tell me… How much conscience does someone have to lose before inventing something that disgusting?”
Tears immediately streamed down Phina’s checks. She turned instinctively toward Harold. “Harold… It wasn’t me. I couldn’t stop them.”
As expected… Harold stood. Whenever Phina cried, reason abandoned him. “Damian. Flourish is an outsider. How can you doubt Phina over an outsider?”
I looked at him. “An outsider?” The Alpha aura around me intensified.
Harold’s jaw clenched as he resisted the pressure. “… Isn’t she?”
I turned toward Grandfather. “Dad. What do you think?”
