I Refuse To Be Your Luna
Chapter 267 Beneath The Vault
Lady Flourish POV
I stepped back quickly, but the stone had already finished moving.

A narrow staircase appeared where the solid floor had been, leading down into darkness. The markings around the opening continued to glow, casting enough light for me to see old carvings running along the walls.
Harold caught my arm.
“Don’t move.”
“I wasn’t planning to.”
His eyes stayed on the opening. “Rhys, get more guards down here.”
Rhys was already reaching for his phone when Voss spoke.
“You won’t need them.”
Harold turned toward him.
“You’ve said enough tonight.”
Voss ignored him and looked at me. “The vault has opened.”
“What vault?”
“The one beneath Stonehedge.”
I looked down the staircase.
Nobody in our generation knew about this place. Magnus had known about the tunnels, but even he had never mentioned a vault built around the First Alpha bloodline.
My wolf moved closer to the surface.
“Go.”
I frowned.
“You know this place?”
“Not the place. The feeling”

I hated that answer.
Harold released my arm but stayed beside me. “I’m going with you.”
Voss gave a small nod.
“That won’t be a problem.”
We started down.
The stairs were narrow, forcing us to walk in single file. Harold went first, followed by me, then Voss and two guards.
The deeper we went, the colder the air became. There were no lights, no modern wiring, nothing that suggested anyone had used the passage recently.
Yet the wards were active.
I could feel them through my skin.
My wolf recognized every mark we passed.
“This was made for us.”
The thought came from her so clearly that I stopped.
Harold looked back. “What is it?”
“My wolf says she recognizes the place.”
His expression changed.
“She has never been here.”
“I know.”
We continued down.
At the bottom, the passage opened into a wide circular chamber. Stone pillars stood around the walls, each carved with different pack symbols.
At the center was a raised platform with a large circular seal cut into it.
The same mark I had seen on the attackers’ devices was carved across its surface.
I walked closer.

The moment I stepped onto the platform, every ward in the room came alive.
A low hum moved through the chamber.
The guards shifted uneasily.

Voss stared at the seal.
“This is what we’ve been looking for.”
I turned toward him.
“You knew it was here.”
“I knew there was a vault.”
“You didn’t know if it would open.”
“No.”
“How long have you been searching?”
He looked at the seal before answering.
“Most of my adult life.”
I stared at him.
“That long?”
“My family was part of the Eastern Army. I grew up hearing about the First Alpha bloodline. I was told the bearer would eventually return, but no one knew where to look.”
“So you started looking.”
“Yes.”
“And every attack on Stonehedge?”
“Was meant to bring you closer.”
Harold’s face hardened.
“You attacked my pack to force her here?”
“We needed her blood to respond to the old wards.”

“You could have asked.”
Voss looked at him.
“Would your council have allowed her to come?”
Harold didn’t answer.
I stepped between them.
“You said every move was meant to draw me here. Explain.”
“The server breach. The attack on the council. The search of the records. The pressure around F-Tech. They were all designed to make the hidden system react.”
“And I was supposed to follow it.”
“Yes.”
I looked around the chamber.
“You put people in danger for this.”
“We needed confirmation.”
“You got it.”
“We needed more than that.”
Voss pointed toward the central seal.
“That is why you’re here.”
I didn’t move.
“What happens if I touch it?”
“We find out whether you are truly the bearer.”
“I already told you I don’t want your title.”
“This isn’t about what you want.”
Harold stepped forward.
“Then you should probably stop giving orders.”

Voss didn’t answer.
I looked down at the seal.
Part of me wanted to walk away. Another part wanted answers badly enough to make that impossible.
I placed my hand over the center.
The chamber reacted immediately.
The carved lines lit beneath my palm and spread across the platform.
A pulse of energy moved through the floor, followed by a deep sound from somewhere inside the walls.
The guards stepped back.
Harold reached for me.
“Flourish.”
“I’m fine.”
The seal brightened.
A mark appeared beneath my hand.
Voss lowered his head.
“The bearer.”
I pulled my hand away.
The light remained.
For the first time, there was no argument about whether the bloodline existed or whether I carried it. The chamber itself had answered.
Footsteps came from the staircase.
We turned.
“Elara?”
She appeared at the bottom of the stairs, breathing hard. Her hair was loose around her face,

and one of the guards behind her had blood across his shirt.
She looked at the glowing seal.
Then she looked at me.
“No.”
I frowned.
“What?”
She hurried toward us.
“You shouldn’t have activated it.”
“Why?”
“Because this is exactly what they wanted.”
Voss remained silent.
Elara stopped beside the platform.
“The Eastern Army doesn’t only want proof that you’re the bearer.”
“I know.”
“No, Flourish. You don’t.”
Her voice shook.
“They want you to become their Alpha.”
The chamber went quiet.
I stared at her.
