"Your father went to a private club on the east side of the city. According to the staff, a massive argument broke out in their private room. They were only together for about twenty minutes before your father walked out, and he already had those scratches on his face."

Sienna listened, her pulse racing.

It sounded like Finn was asking Sienna, but he was really just asking himself.

Sienna stayed quiet.

Finn glanced at her through the rearview mirror.

"When you were stationed at the medical clinic in the Azure Mountain resort, you were right next door to the wildlife rescue center she worked at. Did you get to know her at all?"

His voice was gentle, comforting.
