I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 565

Water dripped down Lydia's forehead, pasting her hair to her scalp. Her cheap eyeliner smeared, running down the corners of her eyes and dragging two dark streaks across her cheekbones.

Her mouth hung open in shock as water dripped from her chin, soaking into the front of her forest green coat and leaving a massive dark stain.

She looked absolutely pathetic.

The small restaurant fell dead silent.

Everyone was staring in absolute shock.

Everyone except Georgina.

She was not only completely calm, but she spoke with devastating slowness.

"Mrs. Cross, I gave you face because you are Sienna's mother. But since you have absolutely no shame, don't expect me to give you any respect."

Lydia wiped her face with the back of her hand, smearing her foundation everywhere. Her lips quivered uncontrollably.

"What... what did you just say?"

"I said you have no shame." Georgina's voice wasn't loud, but it echoed clearly across the room. "You're wearing this dark green coat with black shoes, tying a scarf like it's a decade out of style, trying so hard to look wealthy like some old lady fresh out of the countryside. You thought changing your clothes and carrying a cheap bag made you a city woman?"

Lydia's lips trembled violently as she pointed a shaking finger at Georgina.

"You... you little..."

Georgina didn't give her a second to speak.

"If you hadn't insulted my family, I wouldn't have humiliated you like this. Consider today a lesson in basic human decency!"

Lydia's face turned a horrifying shade of purple.

The customers at the nearby tables were thoroughly enjoying the show.

Through it all, Noah hadn't said a single word.

He was in a state of profound shock.

The Georgina he saw today completely shattered everything he thought he knew about her. She had entirely demolished the sweet, helpless image he had built in his head.

Georgina took a step forward, and Lydia instinctively flinched back, her heels clacking loudly against the floor tiles.

"At your age, to lack this much class... Sienna is such an incredible person. How could she possibly have a mother like you?"

Lydia was practically smoking with rage.

But Georgina had already turned on her heel and walked out.
