"Shut up," Sienna snapped, throwing a harsh glare over her shoulder.

Noah instantly went mute, but he kept his venomous glare fixed on Georgina.

Georgina slowly released her grip on Sienna's arm, taking a small step back until she bumped against the stark white wall of the corridor.

She lowered her head.

"...I didn't know. I'm sorry."

"Come with me," Sienna said, gently taking Georgina's hand.

She led the girl out onto the floor's terrace.

Sienna was so distracted she didn't even notice Finn had quietly slipped away.

Outside, the sky had fully darkened. The streetlights flickered on, casting the swaying silhouettes of sycamore trees against the glass.

Sienna let go of her hand and studied her.

"Why are you running deliveries?"

Georgina's lips parted, but no words came out.

"You just started university," Sienna pressed. "You should be focusing on your classes, not racing around delivering food. You're a brilliant kid, Georgina. Why are you doing this?"

Georgina stared at her shoes.

"I don't have classes on Friday nights, so I went out. I only do it on weekends. It doesn't interfere with my schoolwork."

Sienna kept her eyes locked on her.

"How much do you even make?"
