Finn had someone run a deep dive on Wesley's bank records for the past six months.
He wanted to follow the money trail to see who Wesley was dealing with.
But it wasn't a clean sweep.
On paper, Wesley's accounts were spotless—just standard payroll deposits and everyday expenses. Absolutely nothing raised a red flag.
Lance spoke over the phone.
"It might have been cold hard cash, or maybe the money never even touched his hands."
While waiting for more intel, Finn's phone rang again.
He put it on speaker.
Sienna instantly recognized the voice on the other end.
It was Arthur.
"Finn, I found the guy you're looking for. Address is 244 in the slums on the outskirts of the city. Head over there now."
"Got it. Thanks, Arthur."
Finn hung up, leaving Sienna confused.
"What does Arthur have to do with this?"
Finn slid the phone into his pocket.
"Aside from Wesley, I found another connection tied to Quincy. Quincy might be locked up, but he left an operative on the outside. I shot Arthur a text, but I didn't expect him to track the guy down this fast."
"The slums? Are you heading there right now?" Sienna asked.
Finn grabbed his jacket.
"I'm taking Lance and a few guys with me this time. You stay here."
Sienna understood the gravity of the situation.
If they were too late, the guy might vanish.
She didn't fight him on it.
"Be careful."
That afternoon, Finn and his crew pulled up to the rundown slums on the edge of the city.
The alleyway was too narrow for the cars.
The cracked concrete was lined with piles of rotting trash stacked against the crumbling walls.
