I Stopped Waiting and Started Loving novel Chapter 215

Hearing Quentin's terrifying demand, Zachary, who was standing to the side, shuddered violently.

He immediately threw his hands together in a desperate prayer, bowing frantically toward the bed.

"Please, little angel, think very, very carefully before you answer that!"

Zachary was sweating bullets, his survival instincts screaming at maximum volume.

"I swear I didn't do anything to you! I might be a playboy, but I absolutely do not force women!"

Bonnie stared at him, taking in his absolute terror of Quentin, and swallowed hard against her dry throat.

Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to tell the truth.

"He... touched my face."

The expression on Zachary's face shattered. It looked as though he had just been struck by lightning.

"Oh, f—"

He didn't even get to finish the word.

Quentin had already spun around, his face a mask of demonic fury. Channeling the force of a thunderbolt, he slammed a brutal punch directly into Zachary's face.

"Smash!"

The sickening thud of fist against bone echoed loudly in the silent suite.

The sheer force of the blow sent Zachary stumbling backward several feet before he crashed violently onto the leather sofa.

He let out a pained groan, turned his head, and spat a mouthful of blood-mixed saliva onto the floor.

Clutching the side of his face that was rapidly swelling, Zachary glared at Quentin in absolute exasperation.

"Quentin! Have you lost your damn mind?!"

He was in excruciating pain and entirely out of patience.

"I looked into Parrish York before! His secret girlfriend of five years was named Bonnie Hayes!"

Zachary pointed an accusing finger at the bed, his chest heaving with outrage.

"You just got back to the country and immediately rushed to marry his leftovers! You only did it to steal his toy and piss him off!"

"She's just a damn pawn for your revenge, and you're willing to beat up your own buddy over her?!"

"God, that hurts! You punch like a damn freight train!"

Quentin stood over him, staring down with eyes so terrifyingly empty they belonged to a corpse.

"Get the hell out!"

Seeing the absolute, murderous intent practically radiating off him, Zachary swallowed whatever curses he had left.

He shot a highly suspicious, calculating look at Bonnie, clearly evaluating her true worth.

Then, still clutching his jaw, he groaned, pushed himself off the couch, and cursed his way out the door.
